Here we have another one in for breaking, this car belongs to Joel French you may of seen him advertising the car. Please don’t hound Joel with messages it’s why the car has come to me. He’s sad to see it go and also very busy.

Now before people start in the comments with….
“Why are you breaking such a nice car?”
“How much to buy it?”
“Breaking that car is terrible when someone could buy it.”

The car has been for sale for months at 7k which you will all see the car cost a lot more than 7k to build and he had nothing but people mess him around and not turn up. So everyone’s had the chance to buy it and no one has and Joel is now enjoying his new BMW M4.

Anyway back to the point the car is located at my workshop in Kent, Charing but I can post certain bits at cost.

Here we have a lovely 2004 Pepper white R53 which has been through our workshop here at Total53. With the last bits now being finished up for a fresh MOT I thought I’d advertise the car. The car is mechanically standard, bar some OEM plus parts. Visually it’s had some black trims etc but more than happy to put it all back to standard with the parts ready on the shelf.

The car is based in Kent, Charing.

Gorgeous pair of purples in for various bits and bobs. One for a service, new alternator and new exhaust manifold. The second for a major oil leak found and repaired along with some other bits I found along the way. Also please stop using these MTC Intercoolers! There useless always cause boost leaks and do a worse job than OEM.

So another Checkmate to sail through the workshop. Sadly this one had been messed around with by someone not so knowledgable. After having a timing chain done only 6 months ago and all the rails being broken up already. I also found that the two 10m bolts for the timing chain rails were being used to hold the cylinder head down and the 13m bolts were being used for the rails. It seems they also had a thing for using silicone it was used everywhere and in huge quantity’s. I also found lots of silicone sealer in the oil pickup. So another new chain kit and a big clean up process later she’s back and happy with the new owner.

Little update from the workshop with some recent work. With hopes of giving some more regular updates of stuff going on in the workshop. Recent customer in for a major overhaul with new timing chain, supercharger service, new clutch with all new oil seals and gaskets throughout. Feel free to inquire on prices for your Minis.

Also stay tuned to see the new workshop overhaul with new ramps, compressor, tyre machine and lots of other garage equipment.
