🚗 WHY AWARE?

Nervous or anxious about learning to drive?

You're not alone, and you don't need to feel confident before you start. Building that confidence is part of learning.

I'm trained in mental health awareness and have extensive experience working with nervous and anxious learners. Lessons are calm, patient and adapted to you — there's no pressure to learn at somebody else's pace.

Made a mistake? That's OK. We'll talk through what happened, understand why, and learn from it.

For me, a successful lesson isn't just about what manoeuvre you've mastered. It's also about you getting out of the car feeling a little more confident than when you got in.

A few more happy faces, a few more passes, and that means I now have limited availability for new pupils in Chard and Ilminster.

At AWARE Driving, my aim isn't simply to get you through a test. I want you to become a safe, confident and independent driver who is ready for the road long after the L plates come off.

Whether you're a complete beginner, feeling nervous or anxious about driving, or you've had lessons before and want to get going again, lessons are tailored to you and your pace.

You'll also benefit from my AWARE Driving Pass Promise*. Complete the required training, pass two mock tests and reach test standard with me, and if things don't go your way first time, I'll cover your second DVSA test fee. That's me backing the training we do together.

🚗 THE AWARE DRIVING PASS PROMISE 🚗

Learning to drive is a big investment, so I want my pupils to know that I’m investing in their success too.

With my "Pass Promise", if you meet the conditions below and don’t pass your first practical test, I’ll pay your practical test fee for your second practical test.

✅ Complete a minimum of 30 hours of driving tuition with AWARE Driving.

✅ Pass 2 full mock driving tests with me before your practical test.

✅ Your practical tests must be booked Monday to Friday.

✅ You must follow my advice on when you are ready to take your test.

✅ If you then fail your first practical tes, I will cover the practical test fee for your second attempt.

How does it work?

On the day of your second test, the cost of the practical test will simply be deducted from the AWARE Driving tuition/car-hire fee that you would normally pay me for test day.

So I'm putting some of my own money behind the training I provide.

30 hours. Two mock-test passes. Test ready.

If we've done the work and you're ready, I'll back you.
