We also run upholstery courses, where you learn to re-cover a car seat. PitStop Campers has a VW Crafter available for hire so you can enjoy a Staycation. In addition to this we have a VW Beetle and VW SplitScreen available to hire for weddings, chauffeur driven so you can relax and enjoy your big day. PitStop Campers also specialises in providing top quality trim (upholstery) services and bespoke

campervan conversions to suit any budget. We can provide a full conversion service including mechanical work, body work, spray painting and of course a complete interior re-design. Although not our main business we also provide a complete classic car restoration service. At PitStop Campers we want you to drive away 100% satisfied and ready to show off your newly spruced up van. Being a small business we provide the personal touch and we work hard to make sure that you get a great experience, feel involved with your campervan make over and get a high quality finish.

So after a year of being in a new job I've come to the harsh reality that I simply do not have time to do any Campervan related jobs or hires anymore. So I am sadly selling my Crafter. I would like to thank everyone who has used my wee business over the years it means a lot to me. I will still keep my hand in with the odd sewing job for my own projects and I will hopefully get back to doing the wedding cars some day in the not too distant future but for now that is the end of PitStop Campers 😩

2l diesel engine and 140 BHP
3 belted seats and technically sleeps 4.

Diesel Heater
SMEV/Dometic double gas burner hob and sink combo
Dometic 60l fridge
240v hook up point and several sockets throughout the van
12V system including USB charging points & lights. Also runs the fridge & TV
On board TV/DVD player has USB port for plugging in media
Solar panels to keep the leisure battery nicely topped up
Underslung fresh water tank
Double passenger seat swivels round, it also can fold down to form another table
Poptop roof with scenic canvas (so you can open it right up and let the sun in)
Upstairs bed is on gas struts so you can move it out the way to allow for standing.
The downstairs bed extends from one side to the other and is permanently fixed, it also has a super easy to use extension to make it longer which allows you to sleep long ways in the van.
Lots and lots of well thought out storage (including an area to store a porta toilet)
All finished with stunning upholstery and matching storage bags.

Currently has a private number plate this will be removed prior to sale. Graphics can also be removed if you would prefer.

Coupar the Caddy is nearly complete and is away this weekend on his test run!!! Apologies about the shocking photos the sun was getting in my way (how very dare it, lol! 😂). Complete with top loading fridge, sink, 2 ring gas hob, external HOT water shower, what more do you want? A toilet I hear you say, got that covered as well.
