Another successful extraction on a Transit Custom from the main dealer ….this particular one was a previously failed attempt. The area marked up in red is part of the glow plug that’s missing after being drilled off centre
Quite a difficult one to do and measure up to make sure we weren’t going to make it worse
The remnant of the plug also demonstrates how little was left to extract

This one required 2 new glow plugs after tests carried out in situ identified the faulty ones
(Being able to test correctly whilst still in situ does away with the risk of removing and potentially snapping a “good” glow plug if costs need to be kept as low as possible for the customer)
