2013 Jaguar XF 2.2 diesel

❗️Unexplained coolant Loss ❗️

Visual inspection carried out alongside the coolant system pressurised.

Prognosis, The vehicle had previously had a new timing belt & waterpump kit fitted. The drain b**g on the water pump housing wasn’t tightened to manufacture specification and worked loose causing a a faulty sever coolant leak under pressure.

Bolt removed and cleaned & re-installed tightened to correct specification. No more leaks.

Mitsubishi outlander.

Another Mitsubishi outlander booked in. Customer requested rear discs and pads to be replaced. As you can see the disc face material is excessively worn away effecting braking.

Mitsubishi Outlander.

Customer booked in for front discs and pads after explaining if poor braking and loud screeching noise emitting from the front of the vehicle.
Upon removing the old discs and pads there was no pad material left on the inner pads and around 1.8mm on the outer pads.

- New discs and pads installed.
- Brake fluid check.

2007 Vauxhall Astra H 1.7 CDTI.
This particular vehicle was booked in with is for a replacement dual mass flywheel and 3 piece clutch kit after the customer had called us regarding heavy vibration on acceleration and a rattling when lifting the clutch.
All parts supplied by ourselves and fitted on the customers driveway.
Upon removal of the gearbox we found the CSC had also fully failed.

2010 Ford Focus. The customer had called regarding a loud clunking emitting from the rear of the vehicle. Upon inspection we found the nearside sway bar link to be completely broken in half and the bushing severely deteriorated.

Parts supplied and fitted at the customers place of work due to their busy schedule.

Peugeot Bipper, this particular vehicle was left stranded almost 30 miles from home, after the gear linkage had frayed and broke away from the upper collar leading to loss of gears.
We responded to the customer on a call out basis after being able to obtain the parts the same day.

We repaired this vehicle at the roadside and had the customer on their way in just over 1 hour.
