Blink of an eye and another few weeks pass by, how we are in May already I do not know! š¤Æ
Often struggle to post things on Facebook, now the ALM presence is less at events itās a bit more important to be doing this so not forgotten about! š„ŗ After recent posts there has been some people that have made comment when they have seen me and said they love seeing what i have been busy with which is always nice and especially the unexpected ones - so thanks, means a lot! Because this is the norm to me itās just another day but I guess for many they donāt see this kind of work but may have an interest in it. From a before and after photo it can look easy but honestly, the work and time in some of this stuff is crazy, working with thin sheet metal with things āpullingā or being affected by heat involves a lot of thought and effort- like all things every day is a school day and I am always learning and have a lot to learn yet but with the changes in the line of work and direction of ALM over time I am looking to invest on more equipment to make a better and quicker job of things while I learn to improve the standards.
As many will have seen on my personal Facebook the Astra has had a fair amount of TLC which ended up being a bit last minute and things got well out of hand but this was great to have probably the last of the big weights off my shoulder after a huge effort to clear the decks and all the jobs and head aches that have piled up over the last few years. After a tough four months thankfully there is light at the end of the tunnel and donāt have that horrible feeling of being weighed down with deadlines and a crazy workload. There is still plenty to be busy with over the coming months and year, itās very hard to give people a date in which I can take some jobs on, the bigger jobs need crazy hours into them before seeing progress and although some smaller,quicker turn around jobs would be handy at the moment itās head down on whatās infront of me. šŖ

Credit to Colour Code for the paint job on the Astra which involved some big shifts and late nights to get this turned around quickly for me! Hero š
Anyway, last rambling - just a shout out to any one man bandās, small businessās and the self employed battling away with rising costs and the roller coaster of business in these mad times, if your employed , get paid weekly and walk out the door at 5pm and donāt think about work till when you start the next day, you donāt realise just how good you have it!
