Updated calendar for season eight of the SRK Championship.

- Confirmation that Whilton Mill will slot in as R8 of Sprint and R8, the final, of Challenge.

- We also welcome as round sponsor for the Welsh Weekender in August. "Drive More Rewards is your one stop pit-stop karting loyalty program and don’t forgot our soon to launch merch line!!!". They'll also be providing free gloves to the winner of each class across every championship that weekend.

- We have finalised the circuit layouts we'll be using at Kart Silverstone for the June and December events. Unfortunately we have had confirmation that drivers wanting to race in both the SRK and EKS events at the same time will be unable to do so due to time constraints. Remember that the Sprint event is a longer day - check bit.ly/srk2026schedules for full info.

Still a few rounds available for sponsorship if you would like to collaborate. Round sponsorship costs £60 per event for naming rights and the ability to advertise your products at the event and online.

We're delighted to be heading to Whilton Mill Karting on Sunday 01 November 2026 as a replacement for the cancelled event at Stretton Circuit last weekend.

This event will mirror the cancelled round in that Challenge will precede Sprint. There will also be warmups available, however these will open for booking nearer the time. The Challenge event will also become the new season finale in that championship.

Please note that this will be an afternoon event. Provisional timings are 12:20-14:30 for Challenge and 15:40 to 20:40 for Sprint, meaning the latter parts of this event will be held under floodlights. Exact timings TBC nearer the time.

If you can make the new date then you don't need to do anything - you'll be automatically moved over. If you require an alternative option then please let us know, if you have not done so already. Any credits or refunds will be processed by the end of the week.

82 drivers entered for our first visit to Stretton Circuit Karting - Leicester this weekend for the Kartskins SRK Stretton Round. Looks like it might be a wet one!

There is ONE space left in the Sprint event if you wish to join us, and a handful left in Challenge. All drivers are welcome including first time or one-off entries. Formats:

Sprint: 5m practice, 3x8m heats, 10m final
Challenge: 10m qualifying, 7m race one, 9m reverse order race two, 10m final
Both events are min age 14, min weight 80kg and are £99 each.

There are also some spaces left in the pre-event warmup sessions if you would like some extra practice. You can book these via the links sent in the email this morning.

Next up for us is a new track on the calendar at Stretton Circuit Karting - Leicester on Sunday 10 May. We're looking forward to what looks like a fast track for the Sprint and Challenge events to get stuck into. All drivers are welcome to join us including first time or one-off entries.

We have lowered the minimum age to 14 for both events, and a reminder that the minimum weight is 80kg. No ballast is permitted to be added to the body - it must be secured to a seat insert.

Bookings are open at srkchampionship.com. The "bring a friend" offer expires tomorrow (bring a driver new to SRK and receive a free warmup each). Warmups will open for booking for all other drivers tomorrow via email.
