Noirmoutier is a fantastic place for a campervan holiday, with beautiful sandy beaches, peaceful coastal scenery and charming little villages to explore. The island is compact enough to get around easily, while still offering plenty of places to stop, walk, cycle and enjoy the sea. With its relaxed atmosphere, salt marshes, local markets and spectacular sunsets, it’s an ideal destination for slowing down and enjoying the freedom of campervan travel.

😎We've spent the last stretch in Noirmoutier — a beautiful Island with a real holiday vibe. Cute, low key accommodation options, gorgeous restaurants, a chateaux, and beautiful beaches. A great spot for a short break by the sea or combined with a stay in Nantes or Bordeaux.
🐘I couldn't not mention the wild detour to Les Machines de l'Île with the giant mechanical elephant and the strangest carousel I've ever seen! I can't think of anywhere else you could ride a mechanical Ostrich, sit on a miners head or, whiz around on a mythical creature, a definite highlight for Darcey!
