Grey Ferguson TE20 respray 🚜🔘

A little job for a local customer nearing completion. Couple bits left to finish up but not far off done.

We have sand blasted the chassis skid, prepped up all smaller parts and painted in a 2 pak paint. A lovely finish gleaming away!

We can’t wait to see the end result. 😁.

Engine Transplant and back to graft 🚜💨

Couple bits and bobs to swap about, few oil leaks to mend and the bodywork to refit but back to work again after sitting sad for a good while due to pushing a leg out the bed.

Sitting these old tractors on the slurry pump for a little while definitely helps get all the cobwebs blown out, and determines any issues that require when under load. 🤙

Any guesses on what model tractor we have here? Top prizes for the parts we still need to change over to be correct for the tractor! 🤔

Busy Busy Busy! 💨

Another vintage tractor landed in for some light restoration work. This Fordson Dexta is in a rather tidy condition already but does have a list of issues to address, a date with the blue paint and some upgrades to fit before it leaves again 😁🚜

Brought into us by our tatty but extremely reliable McCormick International B414. Good road speed and doing 17mpg you just can’t beat it!

Steady progress on the straight axle 135. 🛑

We have been busy with the MF 135 recently, starting with applying some 2 pack high build primer to the front section, removing and fully refurbishing the injection pump to solve some fuel leaks, stripping down and resealing the rear axle, replacing lower link pins, trumpet gaskets, brake rod bushings, hub seals and differential bearings. We have also checked and cleaned the brakes, removed the steering box ready for rebuilding and sourced some new spares ready for building back up!

Plenty second hand oil in stock, £3.50 a litre. Grab it while you can! 😂😬

Here’s something not many people will ever get a chance to sit on, let alone work on!

We have spent quite some time on this machine recently, trying to resurrect back from sitting dormant for a few years.

Quite a list of work achieved so far, with a tad more yet to come. So far we have rebuilt the distributor, cleaned and tested the carburettor, created and fitted a wiring loom to suit, re torqued and checked valve clearances, checked engine timing and fixed up a few broken components.

Can anyone guess what make and model this tractor is? Bonus points for its job!

All done and ready for a trip back home. 🚜💨

This tractor came into us as a non runner, with a number of issues spotted almost instantly. We have since removed, repaired and refurbished a number of parts and have managed to bring life back into the old girl.

Now back up and running like a Swiss watch, Listen to that pump ticking away, perfection in a video!

Work completed includes an injection pump overhaul, all injectors refurbish and retipped, engine service, gearbox and rear axle service, hydraulic arms freed and tested, manifold replaced and a few oil and diesel leaks stopped.
