We’ve been treated to some beautiful frosty mornings over the last few days, and we couldn’t resist capturing a few photos to share with you all! 📸✨

There’s something so lovely about the park at this time of year, with crisp mornings, autumn colours and a wonderful sense of peace and tranquillity. 🍁

As we approach the end of another fantastic season, a little reminder that we close for the 2026 season on Saturday 31st October 🎃

👋 That’s a wrap for Gary & Lana… for now! 💚

This weekend marked our lovely wardens Gary & Lana’s last weekend with us for the 2026 season.

They’ve been a fantastic part of the Green Acres team, always ready with a friendly smile, a chat and a helping hand, and we know so many of our guests have enjoyed getting to know them this year.

But the good news is… they’re coming back! 🎉

We’re delighted to say Gary & Lana will be returning to Green Acres for the 2027 season, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming them back.

For now, a huge thank you to them both for everything they’ve done this season — enjoy your well-earned winter break! 🥰

We’ve got some lovely new Christmas tree decorations arriving in the shop beautifully made by Lynleycrafts, ready to add a little extra sparkle to your tree this year. 🎅🏼✨

Perfect for taking home as a little reminder of your stay at Green Acres, or even as a small Christmas gift for someone special. ❤️

🍂 One last taste of the season… 🐟 🍟 🍖

As September draws to a close and we head into cosy October, this week will be the final week for Paolo's Fish & Chips and Skitby Sunday Roasts on the park this season!

There’s something lovely about coming back from an autumn day out, getting cosy in your caravan and having dinner sorted for you. ❤️

Both services finish before October, so if you’re staying with us this week, make sure you enjoy them one last time!

☀️ DON’T PACK AWAY JUST YET…

If you’ve been thinking the caravan is packed up for another year, you might want to think again! 👀

There’s still plenty of season left to enjoy, and the forecast for next week is looking very promising, with some lovely late-September days on the way. 🌿☀️

And honestly… there’s something rather special about staying at the park this time of year. Quieter days, crisp mornings, beautiful autumn colours starting to appear and plenty of opportunities to get out and explore Cumbria before the winter arrives.

So, if you’ve been waiting for a sign to squeeze in one more getaway… this might just be it.😉
