Ever been so busy you don’t know if your coming or going? Yeah that’s me 🤦🏽‍♂️😂

Saturday meant clutch day 🎉 collected Friday evening due to the slave cylinder popping and dropped back off Saturday lunch time with a fresh clutch, dual mass flywheel and slave cylinder! 🙌🏼

Here’s one of the jobs from this past week, yet again forgot to take any photos 😖 we get a phone call from the owner of this van saying it was smoking and in limp mode, attended for diagnostic and found the turbo impeller split in two… he’s self employed and relies on his van every day. We sorted the parts, recovered Friday evening worked all weekend to make sure it was done & back on the road for Monday! Safe to say he’s definitely had a lucky escape! Full intake system stripped, cleaned & refit, new turbo, intake pipe and thorough testing and it’s back on the road!

The first week of 2026 is now done ☑️

- VW touran, we previously diagnosed 2 faults, boost pipe popping off continuously & ABS fault.
We collected the vehicle, fit a New intercooler, boost pipe, ABS sensor & wheel bearing. We also collected and delivered the vehicle for the repair!

-Peugeot 3008, this customer was stuck as his vehicle broke down and got recovered home due to him being unable to drive the vehicle to a garage our service suited perfectly, we attended to repair the vehicle at silloth 💪🏾 ☑️

-Toyota Hilux James Watson Tree Services returned as he wanted some spot lamps fitted to his Hilux so he has a better view with the dark nights, we mounted the lamps supplied up high to reduce the possibility of damage when tipping any logs. Wired in and working perfectly 🤌🏼 ☑️

In true fashion I’ve forgot to take photos of other jobs yet again 🤦🏽‍♂️

All in all a very busy week and a massive Thankyou as always for the continuous support of you all 💪🏾

And we’re back as of tomorrow! I hope you have all had a magical Christmas & a great new year!

Nice little welding job & wiper linkage replaced on the discovery… I was not expecting to find expanding foam and silicone holding the scuttle panel together 🤬 hats off to the person that done that…

Finally got onto a pickup one of our trade customers has dropped off for MOT prep… I’ve never seen a coil spring snapped into 4 pieces 🤦🏽‍♂️ 2 new rear springs done 2 fronts next!

Again Thankyou all for your truly amazing support! Here’s to 2026 💪🏾

Does your BMW have a carbon/burning smell every now and again whilst driving? Does it sometimes shudder whilst driving? That’s exactly what happened to this customer 2 weeks before Christmas! The swirl flap assembly inside the inlet manifold had failed causing a huge restriction of air flow, a collapsed link assembly was allowing all the carbon & soot to escape via the swirl flap motor.

We got a price for an inlet manifold however that was not a viable option as it was nearly £1000 so the customer opted for a swirl flap delete to be done for the time being!

We removed the inlet manifold, removed all of the swirl flap internals and cleaned it out as required. New gaskets, seals & blanking kit fitted and the car is now back better than ever! So if your car is doing the same give us a message today for a price on repair!

Side note… the vans side bars are now on and how good does it look 😍 all made by myself! 🤌🏼

A few of this weeks jobs ticked off!

The owner of this BMW 320d contacted us with a gear selection fault. We attended and quickly determined the fault to be the linkage clip onto the gear lever. Part sourced and vehicle repaired!

A little Mini for a repeat customer was booked in for a diagnostic for an EML & general check over. Upon investigation found the DPF pressure sensor had failed internally. When checking over the vehicle for a health check we found the rear brakes to be worn and advised replacement.
We re attended to replace the sensor and rear discs and pads.

Another returning customer with his transit wanted us to take a look at his exhaust for a suspected blow. Investigated and found that the pipe is starting to leak around the DPF - we rebooked for repair allowing more time for a thorough repair.

Then finally a little MX5 that’s going to be our new project! Keep your eyes pealed 👀🙌🏼

And don’t forget… if you’re at home or at work we will attend! Come rain or shine you can count on us 💪🏾

Thankyou again to all of you amazing customers for your continued support!
