🏁 MEET THE DRIVER: TOBY VINCENT #97 🏁

No racing background, no childhood karting dreams… just a dad who wanted him to play football. Toby’s verdict? “Football’s sh*t.” 😂

Toby got into the motorsport world helping Aston out on short circuit with his boy, before buying a Rotax, suffering a mechanical DNF in his first race and deciding long circuit was the way forward. Sensible decision? Debatable.

After helping Aston through his first season, Toby bought Tom Riley’s 125 and jumped straight into a biblical downpour at Silverstone. Should’ve brought a boat for that one.

His first season was a cocktail of DNFs, mechanical nightmares and the occasional talent shortage… but in the 2026 season he’s turned things around and bagged 2nd place in the championship! 🥈🔥

When he’s not racing, he’s on the spanners, taking the p**s and winding up anyone within a five-mile radius. Every team needs a class clown. Unfortunately, we’ve got Toby. 🤡

🏁 Favourite track: Donington Park or Anglesey

🎯 Next goal: New circuits, international racing and hopefully fewer DNFs!

LHR can’t wait to see what Toby can do next year. More pace, more podiums and hopefully less time fixing the bloody thing! 😂🔥

🏁 SUPERKART COMMUNITY – WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🏁

🔥 SUPERKARTS UK IS HEADING TO MOTORSPORT EXPO 2027! 🔥

We’re delighted to announce that Superkarts UK will have its own stand at Motorsport Expo, ExCeL London, where we’ll also be putting on LIVE SUPERKART DEMONSTRATIONS during the main event weekend! 🏎️💨

But first, we need your help!

🎥 FILMING DAY – WEDNESDAY 11 NOVEMBER 2026

The Motorsport Expo organisers are producing an official promotional video for the event, and they’ve invited Superkarts UK to take part!

We’re looking for members of the Superkart community who would be willing to bring their Superkart to ExCeL London on 11 November to be featured in the filming.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our incredible machines, promote Superkart racing to a wider audience and help attract new people into our sport whilst promoting your sponsors or team.

🏁 MEET THE DRIVER – ASTON BAKER #99 🏁

For Aston, racing has always been in the blood.

With his dad racing superkarts throughout the 80s and 90s, it was perhaps inevitable Aston would find his way into motorsport. His own journey started in Comer Cadets at Beccles Kart Club, working his way through the classes before stepping away from racing for 12 years to focus on life, work and family.

That was until his son, Thomas, started racing Honda Cadets and the racing bug came biting back! Some things never really leave you. 😂

Aston made the move into long circuit superkarts in 2023 and has since completed four seasons in 125 Open. In 2026, he secured his first long circuit race win and meeting win at Donington, finishing 5th overall in the championship.

For Aston, it’s the combination of close, high-speed racing on some of the UK’s best circuits and the people you meet along the way that makes this formula so special. The racing is one thing, but the camaraderie in the paddock makes it something else entirely.

Now, heading into 2027, Aston joins the LHR Motorsport line-up, ready to chase more results and take on the next chapter.

“Grandad born and raised in Hong Kong, migrated to England, birthed my father who birthed me.” 😂 🇭🇰 🇬🇧

Well, that’s the family history covered! Now let’s talk racing. 🏎️💨

Dexter has recently completed his first full season of Long Circuit Superkart racing, and he’s only just getting started!

Before making the move into Superkarts, Dexter had a taste of Senior Rotax, completing just four one-hour practice sessions before taking on the challenge of long circuit racing. Not a bad way to get started!

And if you’re wondering what Dexter’s all about, he sums it up perfectly himself:

“I like the wok stock and 2 smoking tyres.” 😂🔥

Now, with his first full season under his belt, Dexter is joining LHR Motorsport for the 2027 season. A new chapter, more experience to build on and plenty more laps ahead — we’re looking forward to seeing what he can achieve as part of the team.

One thing’s for sure: there’ll be plenty of speed, plenty of laughs and hopefully a few great results along the way! 🏁

Fantastic news for all involved. Well done 👏 Now we need to support our local circuit and get the numbers up.

A Statement from Don Ryder Club Chairman.

As promised in March this year we would update you as soon as possible about all the rumours that were circulating about the future of the club and Darley Moor Sports Centre.
I am delighted to inform everyone that the Club have recently received confirmation that we have secured a new lease on Darley Moor Sports Centre for the next five years.
This means that Darley Moor Motor Cycle Road Racing Club Ltd, Darley Moor Sports Centre and The Chequered Flag Café at Darley Moor are secure for the next five years.
It is business as usual for everyone here at Darley Moor.
We hope we can continue to have your support in everything we do.
As Chairman I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Club Officials for all the hard work in securing the lease. I would also like to thank all of you for your understanding during this difficult time.
