🚨🚨 SWAPPING DRIVING TEST UPDATE 🚨🚨

We’re changing how learners can swap their driving tests
From 1 October, the process for how learner drivers can swap their driving test is changing.

The change will remove the need for learners to coordinate their availability and will make the process smoother and less stressful.

What's changing
To request a swap, the first learner driver will still need to call DVSA. The second learner will then need to call DVSA on the same working day to confirm they're happy with the swap.

We can only process the swap if both learners call DVSA on the same working day.

Previously, both learners needed to be available at the same time to make the swap.

Please make your pupils aware of this change.

Thank you.

🚗💨 3 YEARS OF RYAN’S SCHOOL OF DRIVING! 🎉

Well… would you believe it — 3 years ago I decided to let complete strangers sit beside me while I told them what to do with a car!
And 3 years later, I’m still loving every minute of it!

For anyone who doesn’t know me, I’m Ryan 👋
Over the last 3 years I’ve had the pleasure of teaching loads of brilliant pupils, getting to know you all and watching you all go from stall after stall to full licence holders 🎉🚘

And that’s what I love most about the job. There’s been plenty of laughs along the way and the occasional ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here’ moment😂

But who actually am I when I’m not sitting in the passenger seat?

♥️ Family man —spending time with my wife and son is where you’ll find me most of the time.
🍻 Professional pint drinker — because after a week of teaching people how to drive, I’ve earned one or two!
🎶 Music lover — there’s usually something playing in the background
⛳ Part-time golfer — although whether I’d describe myself as a golfer or someone who enjoys losing golf balls is debatable! 😂

A massive thank you to every pupil, past and present, who has trusted me with their driving journey.
Thank you for the recommendations, reviews, support and banter!

Bring on the next 3 years🚘🙌🏼

To those who are starting their lessons next week, Carter can’t wait to get started too!
He’s been doing his homework, can almost reach the dual controls and is ready to help you win the Piston Cup (If you know, you know)👀👀

Look forward to meeting you all in the coming weeks😁🚘
