A huge congratulations to Lenny for passing his driving test today with just one driver fault. Lenny came to me with no driving experience but I could see from the start he had a natural ability handling the car and great awareness on the road.

Lenny booked a practical test just a couple of weeks ago, but with a bit of effort and persistence checking the DVSA website for cancellations, Lenny managed to move his test forwards. There’s a lot of discussion in the media about how difficult it is to get a test nowadays. The test booking system is far from ideal at the moment, and the DVSA are (rightly) cracking down on third party booking apps, but Lenny is an example of how putting in time and effort on the DVSA website will result in a positive outcome.

A massive congratulations to Peter who passed his driving test yesterday in his own car on his first attempt with just one driver fault. A fantastic driver with a natural ability, awareness and understanding on the road. A huge thank you to his mum too for all of the extra hours of driving outside of lessons and for taking Peter to the Young Drivers Experience before even having lessons. A well earned pass! 🚗

What a week! Five passes in five working days. Plus an extra pass today by a learner of mine in her own car.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks making myself available for people who wanted extra lessons in preparation for their test. Working around everyone’s work and studies doing early mornings, late finishes and weekend lessons meant I had time for everyone.

The commitment by my learners to be as confident and as prepared as possible to be out on the road on their own is the reason they have all passed their driving tests - I’m just there to assist in whichever way each individual needs!
