This series came in to pick up his 110 and unfortunately broke down in the process, after a lot of time trying to source a replacement accelerator cable we were unable to find one… so we modified and made new brackets to take a new cable… whilst it was in we were also ask to do a transfer ratio upgrade as well supplied by after some fettling of spacers it fitted nicely…. All built back up and sat at home again with client.

So as many of you know the 3.0 SDV6 is inherently week…
Spinning main shells, snapping con rods, snapping cranks, bending cranks…..
over the past few years we have spent a lot of time getting to grips with a better and cheaper way of replacing the 3.0
We call it the 27.30 we have managed to take the 2.7 (stronger engine) and marry it up with all the 3.0 equipment…
They run like a dream with slightly increased performance as well….
From under the bonnet you would never know…!!!

So think twice before scrapping your Discovery 4 or your Range Rover there is a cheaper solution!!

So we do our best to keep the very people that are out there saving lives on the road…
David is part of the and crew, as we all know last Thursday was a storm never to forget…
Storm Goretti took hold and took hold hard and fast…

David and his fellow crew members was called out to several major incidents in and within falmouth harbour, boats breaking mooring chain, pontoons breaking up with boats attached and with people onboard even a man over board, they were kept busy most of the evening…

unfortunately his trusted Land Rover decided to cause some problems after the event, the reliability of the crew vehicles is paramount, with potential lives at risk we know we have to pull out the stops to get a diagnosis and fix, after his TD5 110 not wanting to start we quickly arranged recovery and had him back on the road..

New set of injector seals, head loom and rocker gasket and it running like a dream again…

We would like to give a massive thank you to Falmouth RNLI not just for Thursdays efforts but for their continued supports and for risking their lives to save others….

Well it might have Spanish plates but kens Range Rover was in good hand, after smelling hot oil inside the cab we set about finding the leak, we discovered that the oil cooler in the v was leaking, stripped down and genuine parts fitted he is good to make that long drive back to Spain…
