First job of the day.
2014 ford ranger
Had a call to estimate replacement of an alternator due to a charging fault, customer advised me he had another mobile mechanic out to diagnose and in five minutes and £80 later was told he needed an alternator at a cost of around £500, I went out today with an alternator but obviously did my own checks before replacement, took ten minutes to diagnose that it was a cable problem not the alternator, diagnosed and repaired within an hour for a total cost of £130, another happy customer
