GEARBOXES!

At Somerford Mini we stock almost every available component for Direct, Remote and Rod change gearboxes as well as Automatic gearboxes, but did you know we also service, overhaul and rebuild them in our workshop, including Automatic gearboxes!

We fully strip, inspect, clean and rebuild each gearbox carefully and to the customers exact requirements, be it a standard spec A series all the way to a full straight cut box.

If you would like to know more, please contact us.

We have finished this stunning 1963 997 Cooper full shell restoration.

The customer delivered us a very rusty but incredibly original shell where we have fully restored the body before painting it in its original Smoke Grey and Old English White roof. Alongside restoring the shell, we have reupholstered the seats, overhauled the gearbox and replaced the wiring loom. It will be heading back to the customer for them to finish rebuilding.

Pictures do not do this justice, and see the last picture for what we started with!

If you are interested in having your Mini restored please contact us to discus your requirements.
