Happy new year to everybody! We hope you all had a fun and safe night, and a lovely Christmas period as well!

We’ve been very busy from Christmas to now, and today was a very wet one!

We had a customer contact us with a misfire on their Ford Fiesta, after they drove through a large puddle. After some diagnostics, it was only the spark plugs that needed changing! All parts were ordered same day, and got them all fitted this morning 😊

We had another returning customer the other day!! This time they came to us with an MOT failure.

Brake fluid was leaking from the back of their rear calliper! After some investigation, we found a small crack in the back of it. We ordered a new part, and had them ready for retest that day!

Today we did some brakes on a Ford S-Max!

The customer had previously done the passenger side, but found that the drivers side disc was totally seized onto the hub! With a bit of persuasion and having done these types of jobs numerous times, we managed to release the seized disc and fit the new one! 😊

They also had us weld up their rear exhaust hanger, as it had snapped and the car was due an MOT in the week!

We had a nice, easy day today, after being fully booked for the last 2 WEEKS!! Each day is getting busier and busier, it’s hard to keep up 😉

Today we had a Vauxhall Corsa for a brake fluid change, and a stunning MG ZT v8 for a handbrake adjustment, pre MOT. Both vehicles had previously been with us for other issues, so it was nice to have them return for these 🤘🏻

We are completely mobile, and can do the work on your drive as you wait 😊 or if you prefer, we can take the car back to our workshop, and deliver it back later in the day 👍🏻

Another Saturday special!

Vauxhall Insignia with a cracked sump.

Customer contacted us in the week, as they noticed a puddle of oil on their driveway. We popped round that day, got the car jacked up, and after checking the common issues, found a small crack in the sump. The parts was ordered and they were booked in for today!

Other garages had quoted near on twice as much as us, so the customer was perfectly happy to go ahead with the work!

All of the engine has been cleaned, and so have I! It was a messy job, but we still got it done! 😊

We’ve got another one!

MORE MOT failures!!

Today we dealt with a broken front coil spring, a couple of Anti-roll bar links and some more electrical issues with the headlights and tail lights.

All the issues were fixed same day, and retested that afternoon!! Another happy customer 😊

This customer came to us with their Mark VI Golf, after numerous visits to various VW garages, with no success in diagnostics or repairs.

They had an issue with the On-Board GPS system not showing their correct location. After some diagnostics, we discovered that the GPS antenna had failed.

During this time we also noticed other faults in the electrical system, such as the drivers side wing mirror indicator not working. We advised the customer of these faults and had the parts fitted next-day!
