Standard hourly rate £40.00 per hour
Interim services from £80.00
Full services from £180.00

🚨 Don’t ignore the warning lights on your dashboard!

We know it’s tempting to think “I’ll get that looked at eventually…” 👀 but a warning light can be your car’s way of telling you about a problem before it turns into a much bigger (and more expensive!) repair. 💷

🟠 Amber light? Get it checked as soon as you can.
🔴 Red light? Stop somewhere safe and investigate – continuing to drive could cause further damage.

And remember – clearing a warning light doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve fixed the problem behind it! 🔧

🔧 PEUGEOT 208 WET BELT REPLACEMENT 🔧

Another wet belt job completed at Pinnacle Service Centre! 👨🏼‍🔧

This Peugeot 208 came in for its wet timing belt replacement — and once stripped down, you can see exactly why these belts are something you don’t want to ignore. 👀

The old belt was showing clear signs of deterioration, with the belt material beginning to break down.

⚠️ Got a 1.2 PureTech? This is worth knowing!

The timing belt replacement interval is 70,000 miles or 72 months (6 years), whichever comes first — however, these wet belts can deteriorate much sooner than the recommended interval.

Because these belts run inside the engine oil, deterioration can lead to debris entering the oil system and potentially cause much bigger (and much more expensive 💸) problems if left.

✅ Wet timing belt replaced
✅ Timing correctly set using the appropriate locking tools
✅ Old deteriorating belt removed
✅ Engine reassembled and ready to go
