Another Gen 2 Toyota GR Yaris in the Whifbitz workshop this week for a couple of nice upgrades.

This one came in for:

• Genuine Toyota Aero Performance adjustable rear spoiler
• Milltek resonated exhaust system

The Aero Performance rear spoiler completely changes the look of the Gen 2 GR Yaris, giving it a much more aggressive appearance while also being a functional, adjustable aerodynamic upgrade developed by Toyota.

We also fitted the Milltek resonated exhaust, which gives the GR Yaris a deeper, sportier exhaust note without being excessively loud – a great option for a road car.

Two relatively simple upgrades that make a big difference to both the look and sound of the car.

A rare GR Yaris-powered Lexus👀

This is the Lexus LBX Morizo RR powered by the same 1.6L turbocharged 3-cylinder drivetrain found in the GR Yaris and GR Corolla.

It’s supposed to make 300bhp from factory, so there was only one thing to do stick it on the dyno and see what it actually makes.

On a hot day, it put down 292bhp. 🔥

The finishing touches before handover 👌

We fitted this genuine GR suede steering wheel and matching GR suede gearknob to one of our recently sold cars, ready for its new owner collecting it yesterday.

A really nice OEM+ upgrade — the suede gives both touch points a much more special feel while keeping everything completely genuine GR.

We've got two very different Toyota Supra MK4 Twin Turbo examples coming up, both worth a closer look.

2002 Toyota Supra RZ-S Twin Turbo
• Tiptronic Auto

• Only 34,000km

One of the last MK4 Supras built and a particularly rare find these days. A 2002 RZ-S Twin Turbo with just 34,000km and Grade 4.5 – finding late, low-mileage examples in this sort of condition is getting seriously difficult.

This 499bhp Toyota GR Supra A90 was back in the Whifbitz workshop for the next stage of its build – this time concentrating on handling and braking ready for track use.

We've previously tuned this Supra using MHD, but with plenty of power already available, the aim this time was to make the chassis and brakes just as capable.

We fitted:

• Suspension Secrets adjustable rear toe arms
• Suspension Secrets solid front lower control arm bushes
• Suspension Secrets adjustable camber & caster plates
• Porterfield R4 track compound brake pads
• HEL Performance braided brake lines
• Motul RBF700 high-temperature brake fluid
• Custom fast road alignment

Combined with the HKS coilovers already fitted, the Suspension Secrets components give us much greater control over the geometry, allowing us to set the car up for sharper response and improved handling.

The Porterfield R4 pads, HEL braided lines and Motul RBF700 provide the braking performance and consistency needed when this car starts seeing some proper track use.

Power is only part of building a capable car. This combination of suspension, geometry and brake upgrades completely transforms the way the Supra handles and stops.

Now we just need to see how it performs on track!

Another Toyota GR Yaris back in the Whifbitz workshop, this time for a full service to keep everything performing as it should.

We carried out:

• Engine oil & genuine Toyota oil filter
• Gearbox oil change
• Transfer box oil change
• Rear differential oil change
• Motul RBF700 brake fluid
• Genuine Toyota cabin filter

We used Motul fluids throughout, along with genuine Toyota filters.

This GR Yaris also looks a little different from standard thanks to the genuine Toyota Aero Performance vented bonnet and front wings, which we previously supplied for the car. They give the Yaris a much more aggressive appearance while also being functional aerodynamic upgrades.

Whether your GR Yaris is standard or modified, we can look after everything from a basic oil service through to a complete engine and drivetrain service.

This 430bhp Toyota GR Yaris was back in the Whifbitz workshop recently, but this time it wasn't here for more power!

After previously undergoing an extensive build with us, including a forged engine, ARTEC Sport 400 turbo, Syvecs ECU, Kelford cams and plenty of supporting modifications, it was time for some routine maintenance.

This visit included:

• Engine oil change using Motul engine oil
• Genuine Toyota oil filter
• NGK Racing spark plugs

Regular servicing is important on any GR Yaris, but even more so when you're running 430bhp. Keeping on top of the basics with quality fluids, filters and plugs is essential on a car at this level of tune.

It's always good to see this one back in the workshop – and it still looks every bit as good as it performs!
