From documenting its condition and onboard equipment to a freshwater wash, trailer readiness check and creating its ongoing care record, the process gives both you and our team a clear starting point from day one.

Because looking after a boat properly starts long before it's time to launch.

What happens when a boat first joins the Boaters Freedom Club?

Before it is stored, every boat goes through our eight-stage Storage Ready Check-In.

We photograph and record the boat’s visible condition, log its keys and onboard equipment, give it a freshwater wash and thorough dry, and complete a structured 20-point trailer readiness check.

The boat is then secured in the yard, with its photographs, checks and notes added to its ongoing care record in your personal customer portal.

This gives you and our team a clear starting point. We know what arrived, what condition it was in and whether anything may need attention.

When you entrust us with your boat, our responsibility goes beyond keeping it secure. The Storage Ready Check-In is the first step in a consistent standard of care, giving our team the information needed to look after your boat properly throughout its stay.

✅ Sufficient fuel onboard
✅ Cooling water flowing after start-up
