πŸ›ž As winter approaches, wet, cold and icy roads make safe tyres more important than ever.

We recognise the ongoing cost of living pressures and understand that replacing tyres can be expensive. However, safety must come first.

βœ… Check your tyre tread
βœ… Check pressures
βœ… Look for cuts, bulges or other damage

Worn or damaged tyres put you and other road users at risk, particularly in poor weather.

If you're concerned about your tyres, please seek advice from a reputable tyre professional.

A few minutes checking today could help prevent a serious incident tomorrow πŸ‘πŸΌ

Thank you 🫢🏼

🏍️Are You an All-Weather Rider? Get Your Bike Ready for Autumn

For many motorcyclists, the arrival of autumn doesn’t mean putting the bike away. But wetter roads, falling leaves, lower temperatures and reduced daylight can make riding more challenging.
If you're an all-weather rider, now is a good time to make sure your tyres are ready for the change in conditions. An easy way to remember what to check is A.C.T.

A – Air pressure
Check your tyre pressures regularly and when the tyres are cold. Use the pressures recommended by your motorcycle or tyre manufacturer. Correct pressure is important for handling, braking and tyre performance.

C – Condition
Take a close look at both tyres. Check for cuts, cracking, bulges, embedded objects or other signs of damage. If something doesn't look right, get the tyre inspected by a competent motorcycle tyre specialist.

T – Tread
Check the tread across the tyre and don't wait until it is badly worn before taking action. Good tread is particularly important when riding on wet roads, where tyres need to disperse water effectively.

πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦―πŸ‘©β€πŸ¦½ Meddyliwch cyn i chi barcio ar y pafin

Efallai bod parcio ar y pafin yn ymddangos yn gyfleus, ond gall greu problemau mawr i eraill. Gall blocio pafin orfodi pobl i fynd ar y ffordd, gan eu rhoi mewn perygl ac yn gwneud teithiau'n anodd neu'n amhosibl i ddefnyddwyr cadair olwyn, pobl sydd ag anawsterau symud, pobl Γ’ nam ar eu golwg, a rhieni gyda babis mewn pram.

Mae pafin clir yn helpu pawb i deithio'n ddiogel ac yn annibynnol.

βœ… Parciwch yn ystyriol
βœ… Gadewch digon o le i gerddwyr
βœ… Cadwch y pafin yn hygyrch i bawb

Mae’r pafin ar gyfer pobl, nid ar gyfer parcio. Gadewch i ni gadw ein llwybrau'n glir ac yn ddiogel.

πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦―πŸ‘©β€πŸ¦½ Think before you park on the pavement

Parking on the pavement might seem convenient, but it can create major problems for others. Blocked pavements can force people into the road, putting them at risk and making journeys difficult or impossible for wheelchair users, people with mobility issues, those with visual impairments, and parents with prams.

A clear pavement helps everyone travel safely and independently.

βœ… Park considerately
βœ… Leave enough space for pedestrians
βœ… Keep pavements accessible for all

A pavement is for people, not parking. Let's keep our paths clear and safe.

πŸš— October is Tyre Safety Month πŸ›ž

Your tyres are the only part of your vehicle in contact with the road, so keeping them in good condition is vital for your safety and the safety of others.

Take a few minutes to ACT:

🌬️ Air pressure – Check your tyre pressures regularly and use the pressures recommended by your vehicle manufacturer.

πŸ” Condition – Look for cuts, cracks, bulges or other signs of damage.

πŸ“ Tread – Check you have sufficient tread across your tyres. The legal minimum tread depth for cars is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, around its entire circumference.

As we head into wetter autumn weather, well-maintained tyres can make a real difference to your vehicle's grip, braking and handling.

βœ… Check your tyres today. Don't wait until something goes wrong.

Y 5 ANGHEUOL: Gwregysau Diogelwch - Bob Taith. Pob Sedd. Bob Amser.

Mae gwregys diogelwch yn un o'r ffyrdd symlaf o warchod eich hun a phobl eraill mewn damwain. P'un a ydych chi'n gyrru o amgylch y corneli neu'n teithio ar daith hir, rhaid i bawb yn y cerbyd wisgo gwregys diogelwch os oes un wedi'i osod.

πŸ”΄ FATAL 5: Seatbelts - Every Journey. Every Seat. Every Time.

A seatbelt is one of the simplest ways to protect yourself and others in a crash. Whether you're driving around the corner or travelling on a long journey, everyone in the vehicle must wear a seatbelt if one is fitted.
