Earlier this week we were delighted to welcome pupils from Dunluce School, Loreto College, Coleraine Grammar School, Dominican College and North Coast Integrated College to Halliday Automotive recently.
The visit was designed to showcase the wide range of career opportunities available within the automotive industry and to challenge the perception that it is a male-dominated sector. We were proud to introduce some of the talented women who help drive our business forward every day.
The students enjoyed a chat with Kellie from Aftercare, Eadaoin from Sales and Judith from Accounts, a full tour of our facilities, and the chance to meet Ally, our technician, who shared her experiences working in the industry. They also got hands-on with the Peugeot range—although we suspect the highlight was connecting their phones and taking over the showroom soundtrack for a while! 🎵🚗
And of course, no visit would be complete without a stop at the Citroën Ami, which proved just as popular as we expected.
A huge thank you to all the pupils for their enthusiasm and engagement. We are proud to support the next generation of talent and encourage more young women to explore the exciting opportunities our industry has to offer.
