Happy Driving Instructor Day

Today, as we celebrate this special occasion, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you for entrusting me with your journey to becoming confident and safe drivers.

For over two decades, it has been my privilege to guide learners through the intricacies of driving, instilling not just the skills, but also the values of responsibility and safety on the road.

As parents, I understand that your main concern is the well-being of your kids, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether it's patiently helping a nervous beginner gain confidence or providing support to learners facing unique challenges. I am committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is the lasting connections formed with the clients and their families. It's truly heartwarming to now be teaching the children of those I taught 20 years ago. These relationships speak volumes about the trust we've built over the years.

So today, let's celebrate the milestones achieved, the obstacles overcome, and the bonds formed on this journey together. Your trust and support mean the world to me, and I am privileged to be a part of your driving experience.

Happy Driving Instructor Day! 🚗

Update on practical driving lessons and tests in England 😷

It's no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering whilst taking a driving lesson with an instructor or a car driving test in England 🚗

We are asking you and your instructor to continue to wear a face covering during lessons if you can.

This in line with government guidance that suggests people continue to wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where they may come into contact with other people they don't normally meet.

You still need to wear a face covering for your driving test if you can, which we will be keeping under review.

❌Your test will not take place without a face covering if you don’t tell us in advance that you’re not able to wear one.

Road collisions involving horses have more than doubled in Greater Manchester in last 12 months.
The British Horse Society says half of incidents nationally are linked to road rage.
They are reminding motorists to do the following if they see a horse on the roads.
☑️Slow down to a maximum of 15 mph.
☑️Be patient, and don't sound the horn or rev engine.
☑️Pass the horse wide and slow - at least a car's width if possible.
☑️Drive away slowly.

This is quite reassuring considering in driving lessons we cannot keep 6ft distance, the risk of transmission remains low by both the driver and instructor wearing a face covering. Combined with the washing of hands and cleaning the car between lessons we are working together to make the risk of transmission as low as possible. Thanks to all my clients for taking so well to our joint efforts in keeping the virus from spreading.
