Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the 2026 Ford Dealer Marketing Conference, an insightful and inspiring day exploring the future of Ford.

With plenty to take away, the conference offered a look ahead at what's in store for 2027, from Ford's partnership with Red Bull Racing and return to the World Rally Championship to exciting CV plans and upcoming Passenger Vehicle launches.

We also had the opportunity to see the incredible Ford Mustang GTD Spirit of America on display, before visiting the Ford Heritage Collection. With around 130 historic vehicles, the collection offered a fascinating look at Ford's heritage, including everything from an early Transit van to the iconic GT40 racer.

A fantastic opportunity to gain fresh insights. Thank you to Ford for hosting such a valuable event!

Here's a little peek at what we got up to at Perrys Bury for Restart a Heart Day!

We joined forces with Restart the Heart for an incredible day of raising awareness, learning lifesaving skills and taking on the challenge of trying to set our best times!

Our team and visitors got stuck in, all in support of a fantastic cause dedicated to bringing lifesaving skills and defibrillators into our local community.

But we're not giving everything away just yet! Stay tuned for Monday, when we'll be sharing plenty more photos and highlights from the day, including the big reveal of our "Beat the Boss" competition winner!

A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and helped us KEEP BURY BEATING! ❤️

Today, we're celebrating a very special milestone for our very own Master Technician, Dave, who has officially reached an incredible 30 years of service with Perrys! 🎂🥳

Dave's journey began three decades ago when he first joined the Perrys family as a Service Advisor. From there, he spent time working in Warranty before eventually finding his true calling in the workshop, where he continues to shine as one of our valued Master Technicians today.

Over the years, Dave has become a familiar face and an invaluable member of our team, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience and dedication to everything he does. 30 years is an incredible achievement, and we're so proud to have Dave as part of the Perrys Bury family.

From everyone here at Perrys Bury, thank you, Dave, for your continued hard work, loyalty and commitment. Here's to celebrating you and this fantastic milestone. ❤️

This Restart a Heart Day, we’re joining forces with Restart the Heart for another important fundraising mission — to KEEP BURY BEATING.

On Friday 16th October, our team will be taking part in a NON-STOP CPR relay from 9am–5pm, and we’re inviting our customers, local businesses and wider community to get involved.

Take your turn performing CPR, challenge your colleagues or see how long you can keep going. There’ll also be opportunities to learn vital CPR and AED skills, take on challenges and win prizes throughout the day.

No previous CPR experience is needed, you’ll be shown exactly what to do.

Whether you can spare one minute or ten, every turn helps raise awareness of the lifesaving difference CPR and access to defibrillators can make. ANY donation, big or small, will go directly towards providing defibrillators and vital CPR classes across our area. https://justgiving.com/crowdfunding/perrys-restart-the-heart

Bring your family, friends or colleagues and help us Keep Bury Beating!

October 10th marks World Mental Health Day, and we want to remind you that it’s okay to slow down. Life can get busy, and sometimes we all need a reminder to take things at our own pace. Whether that means taking five minutes for yourself, speaking to someone you trust or simply recognising when you need a break, looking after your mental health matters.

At Perrys, our colleagues have access to support through BEN, the automotive industry charity dedicated to supporting the people who keep our industry moving.

If you’re struggling, please reach out. To your friends, your family, a colleague or even a stranger. Because a conversation can make all the difference, no matter who it's with. Mental health matters. Today and every day.

Self-care means something different to everyone. Whether it's getting out for a walk, spending time with loved ones, taking a break, exercising or simply making time for yourself, it's the small moments that can make a big difference.

To mark this day, we asked some of our colleagues here at Perrys what self-care means to them, what helps improve their mood and what advice they'd give to others when it comes to looking after themselves.

A big thank you to Bella, Toby, Shannon and Matthew for taking part in this video and sharing their thoughts. We hope their words inspire you to take a little time for yourself today.
