Making progress on a dual carriageway done right!

Although it's quiet, you can really maximise the way you move through traffic whilst marinating speed.

Looking far ahead is key. Notice what others are doing & plan early how you can stay out of trouble. Updating mirrors regularly will also help you paint a picture of what is best for your next step!

Driving in the rain can be tough! Especially if you are new to driving.

A safe distance is important to allow you enough time to react & deal with a potential situation. But, how far back is safe?

What makes this trickier is the spray from the vehicles in front.

Make sure you also have your lights on. This makes you more visible to others.

Being aware of your surroundings, especially oncoming traffic as theyre also on green when you are!
Make sure you give way until its clear, or opposing traffic is on red!

Lane changes can be tricky. Keep updating your surroundings, move with traffic speed & if you cant change lane, you can go around & try again.

Going the wrong way (or around again) keeps everyone safe. It also wont fail your test!
