👀 Inside the BYD Ti7…

We’ve looked at some of the standout features already, but what’s the cabin actually like as a whole?

The Ti7 gives you a clean, modern interior with a huge central display, panoramic roof, comfortable seating and plenty of technology built around the driver.

There’s a lot to explore too, from vehicle settings and drive modes to the camera systems and controls hidden within the touchscreen.

What do you think of the Ti7 interior?

👀 What extras do you get in the BYD Ti7?

Well, there are no extras as they are already all included! In fact, the only thing you can choose as an optional extra is the paint colour.

From comfort and convenience features to the amount of technology packed into the cabin, it’s clear BYD hasn’t kept things basic.

We’ve already looked at the massage seats, built-in fridge and hybrid technology — but there’s plenty more to explore inside the Ti7.

⚡ Can you drive the BYD Ti7 as an EV?

Yes — and that’s one of the most interesting things about its plug-in hybrid setup.

The Ti7 can travel on electric power alone, with the video highlighting an EV-only city range of up to 102 miles.

That means shorter journeys and everyday driving can potentially be completed without using the petrol engine, while you still have the flexibility of hybrid power when you need to go further.

Electric for the everyday. Hybrid when you need it.

⚡ You asked. We answered. What exactly is DM-p?

You’ll have seen the badge on the new BYD Ti7, but what does it actually mean?

DM-p is BYD’s performance-focused plug-in hybrid technology, combining electric-first driving with the flexibility of a petrol engine when it’s needed. The focus is on delivering stronger performance while retaining the everyday versatility you’d expect from a plug-in hybrid.

In this video, we break down the system and explain what it means for the Ti7.

💺 Our favourite feature in the BYD Ti7? This might be it…

The Ti7 already has plenty to explore, but the built-in seat massage function definitely caught our attention.

Choose your massage style, adjust the intensity and make those longer journeys a little more comfortable.

It’s one of those features you might not think you need… until you’ve tried it. 😅

Would massage seats be high on your must-have list?

👀 First impressions of the BYD Ti7…It definitely makes an entrance.

From the bold, boxy exterior and chunky wheel design to the premium-looking cabin and generous rear-seat space, the Ti7 feels like a serious step up in size and presence.

There are plenty of little details to notice too, from the exterior trim and roof rails to the spacious second row and tech-focused interior.

This is only a first look, but there’s already plenty to talk about.

🔋 Before BYD built cars, it built batteries.

The BYD story began in 1995 as a specialist battery technology company.

From early vehicles and public transport to the introduction of Blade Battery technology, BYD’s journey has always been closely linked with innovation and electrification.

Fast forward to 2026, and the BYD range now includes fully electric and Super Hybrid vehicles designed for everyday driving.
