This evening I was out for a fellow TT owner! And ironically given we both drive "hairdressers cars" between myself and this cars owner there wasn't a strand of head hair between us!!!

Didn't stop us getting some great gains, better power delivery, smoother gear changes and improved throttle response though 💪🏻

These 2.0tdi's are massively popular engines across the VAG range and they also make good gains too.
As with many diesels the performance tune will also give you better mpg in real world driving conditions... What more could you want!?

This Range Rover originally had an economy tune put on by us, but wasn't seeing the desired results, we tried again with a tweaked economy tune, but still wasn't getting where we hoped, and with this being an engine with mechanically controlled turbo this remap was mainly done by modifying fuelling. So as a last try we went full performance and once again it's shown that in real world driving this has made the desired effect to the economy! 😁
Quite often a performance tune on a diesel gets better MPG and I would recommend just going for a performance tune even if it's economy you are after has having that better throttle response, low/mid range torque and extra power means you're getting up to speed quicker, off the line easier and actually on that accelerator pedal less and it all adds up to better mpg 👌👌
