Muddy Marvelous!!🏃🏻‍♀️🛘

Please join us here at Approved Valeting in congratulating our wonderful admin team of Nicola, Sophie and Romy for enduring rain, mud and crazy obstacles in their charity “race for life” and raising vital funds for Cancer Research UK (CRUK).🎗️

The Approved Valeting team raised a personal amount of over £5k, and in total the event held at Markeaton Park in Derby raised a fantastic £200k!!💰

We’re so proud of our fab team, and after getting this dirty, we guess its just as well they’re working with the UK’s leading valeting company.🫧🧽

Did you know its National Fish and Chips Day? 🐟🍟
Yes, even the nations favourite dinner gets its own special day, and Approved Valeting Commercial Director Gary Peasnall was more than happy to join in the celebrations✅

To keep the fun mood we asked our team for a selection of Fish and Chip jokes and puns, we apologise for how bad some of these jokes are, were batter at valeting than stand up comedy 🤣🤣

Did you hear about the fight outside the local fish and chips shop?
- The fish got battered.👊🏻🥁

I phoned the wife earlier and asked if she wanted me to pick up Fish and Chips on the way home, but she just grunted at me.
- I think she still regrets letting me name the twins. 😂🥁

The fish and chip shop near me has gone into liquidation
- Now the owner is stuck between a rock and a hard plaice 🪨🥁

Two priests decided to open a Fish and Chip shop...
- One was a Fish Friar, the other was a Chip Monk. 🐿️🥁

Its Mental Health Awareness week, and here at Approved Valeting we ask all our managers, operatives, and support staff to just take a moment to focus on their own well-being🧠

Think of others who might just need a short call, or even a text to reach out and ask, “how are you?” three short words, that can make a whole world of difference🙏🏻

Some early signs to look out for:
• Feeling constantly drained
• Overwhelmed
• Withdrawing from others
• Increased irritability
• Loss of motivation

Noticing these early matters.✅

Taking time to rest, step back, and reset can make a real difference before burnout deepens.🕥
