🚙🎉 ANOTHER PASS ADDED TO THE LIST🎉🚙

Well, where do I start with this one?! 😂👏

A learner with banter for days, a personality bigger than the car, and driving standards to match! 😎🤣

He might be a little on the shorter side, but trust me, there is absolutely NOTHING small about his personality! 😂🔥 Always ready with a comeback, always up for a laugh, but when it came to driving, he knew exactly when it was time to be serious. 💪🚙

A genuinely safe, sensible driver who has shown that you can have a laugh, enjoy the journey and still take road safety seriously. ✅🛣️

Today, all that hard work paid off and he’s officially passed his driving test! 🥳🎊

Now the real challenge begins… keeping the banter going without me in the passenger seat! 🤣😂

Massive congratulations! Go enjoy your new freedom, stay safe, and please don’t forget us little people who helped get you there! 😉🚙

👏 Stay safe, keep smiling, and keep being YOU! 👏

🚨 OUT OF OFFICE! 🏰✨

I’m off to Disneyland for a week, which means I’ll be temporarily unavailable for anything remotely resembling adult responsibility. 😂

🚗 Driving lessons? ❌
📱 Messages? ❌
📝 Admin? Absolutely not. ❌
🎢 Going on every ride I can possibly fit in? YES! ✅

I’ll be embracing my inner child, eating far too much, spending money I probably shouldn’t and generally pretending I’m 10 again… despite the lack of actual children accompanying me! 🤣

All messages and enquiries will be answered when I’m back and have finished being a big child. 😂

Until then… Hakuna Matata! 🦁🏰🎢

The most famous question from an examiner on test day. “If you weren’t doing your test today. What would you be doing?”. Well this is what I love doing when I’m not instructing. My little obsession. LEGO.

🚙 💨 FOCUS ON THE SOLUTION… NOT THE PROBLEM! 😂

You’ve stalled.

You’ve missed the turning.

You’ve selected 3rd gear when you meant 1st.

You’ve entered a roundabout looking like you’re auditioning for Fast & Furious: Burnley Drift. 🤦‍♂️😂

AND NOW YOU’RE HAVING A FULL-BLOWN MELTDOWN ABOUT IT.

STOP. 😂

The car hasn’t exploded.

The examiner hasn’t appeared from the bushes.

And no, you’re not going to have to walk home. 😂

So what do we do?

👉 What happened?
👉 Why did it happen?
👉 What can we change?
👉 Let’s have another go! 💪

That’s learning.

I’m not here to sit beside you for 45 minutes reminding you about something that happened 17 minutes ago.

We identify it.
We fix it.
We practise it.
We move on.

Because one mistake doesn’t suddenly mean you’re a terrible driver.

It means you’ve found something that needs a little more work.

And if you spend the rest of the lesson worrying about the mistake you just made…

YOU’RE PROBABLY GOING TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE! 🤦‍♂️😂

So don’t beat yourself up.

Don’t replay it like it’s the final scene of a Netflix drama. 📺😂

Take the information.

Find the solution.

And carry on. 👊

Because the aim isn’t:

❌ “I must never make a mistake.”

The aim is:

✅ “When something goes wrong, I know what to do about it.”

Progress, not perfection. 🚙 💨

Now… put it in gear and let’s have another go! 😂

🚨🚗 WELL DONE RACHEL, ONLY GONE AND PASSED HER THEORY! 🚗🚨

Well… miracles DO happen! 😂🙌

After weeks of revision, questions, answers and enough swearing to make a sailor blush, she has finally managed to convince a computer that she knows what she’s doing! 🤣

🎉 THEORY TEST: PASSED ✅
🤬 POTTY MOUTH: STILL A SERIOUS FAULT ❌
🧠 COMMON SENSE: CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW 😂

Honestly though, MASSIVE congratulations! 🥳👏

One big hurdle out of the way and now it’s time to concentrate on the important stuff…

Making sure the driving is better than the language! 😂😂

Keep smashing it — your driving is improving, your confidence is growing and thankfully I can now officially say:

“She passed her theory” rather than
“She’s still swearing at the theory questions.” 🤣

Well done, you absolute menace! ❤️🚗💨

Now let’s get that practical test pass… preferably without making the examiner require counselling afterwards! 😂

😂

🚙 💨 FIRST TIME PASS! 🎉🏆

A massive congratulations to Kieran the absolute car whisperer! 😂🔧

After putting in the work, he’s gone and passed his driving test FIRST TIME with just 4 driver faults! 👏🔥

Being a mechanic, he already has a pretty special relationship with cars… although I’m not sure his idea of “mechanical sympathy” always applies to the gearbox! 😂

This is the man who can apparently drive up hills in gears that have absolutely no business getting up there and somehow the car just says, “Don’t worry mate, I’ve got this.” 🤣

Now he’s officially got the licence to match his mechanical skills! 🚙 💨

Huge congratulations mate — first time, 4 faults and fully deserved! 🥳👏

Stay safe out there and enjoy the freedom! 🚙 💙

Following on from yesterdays post. She did not only pass her test but may I add she did it with 0 faults.

Goes to show how much some people just need that confidence boost 🙂

I don’t usually put messages from learners or even reviews on this page. But this one I had to share. I had someone message me out of the blue as she had a really bad experience with a previous instructor.

Unfortunately I see this happening more than it should and is not acceptable!!! I had to help her out because I don’t want anyone feeling this way.

If you are reading this and you’re experiencing something similar then you don’t have stick with your instructor. You can leave and find someone who caters to your needs.

On a flip note if you’re reading this and your an instructor and you’re making your learners feel like this I don’t want to be involved in the same community as you and you should find a different career path.

(I do have permission from the learner to share this)

🎉🚙 A HUGE congratulations on passing your driving test in Skipton with only 1 driver fault! 🚙🎉

No more L-plates… just a lifetime of asking, “Where are we parking?” 😅

You should be incredibly proud of yourself. Passing a driving test isn’t about luck—it’s about hard work, determination, staying calm under pressure, and making safe decisions. Today, all of that paid off! 👏

Now for the important bit… passing your test doesn’t mean you’ve finished learning—it means you’ve earned the privilege of learning on your own. Keep using those mirrors, keep planning ahead, and remember that arriving safely is always more important than arriving quickly. 💙

Drive safely, enjoy your new freedom, and don’t forget… I can now officially stop saying, “Mirror… mirror… MIRROR!” 😂

Congratulations once again and enjoy every mile. You’ve earned it! 🚙💨
