Chippy Chat Friday 🐟

What a month! It's flown by and doesn't seem two minutes since my last Chippy Chat. CVS are as busy as ever with new milestones being achieved each week as we enter our peak season - more to come on this another time.......

For today's 'Chippy Chat' it was an absolute pleasure to welcome two brilliant individuals Ben Bottomley and Annabelle Riley from Burnley FC in the Community, the award-winning charity of Burnley Football Club. BFCitC uses the power of football to change lives across Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, the Ribble Valley and West Yorkshire, with over 50 projects reaching more than 32,000 people annually - amazing guys!

CVS have recently joined the 'All Onside Business Club'. We eagerly look forward to working with BFCitC and aligning our brands to further support the community. What better to way to celebrate this than with a Chippy on a roasting hot Friday 😝 ☀️

Once the formalities and business chat was out of the way, we really opened the floor up to discuss a multitude of topics, kicked off with , Barcelona, Silverstone, managing busy business lifes, hobbies and sobriety. Favourite Movies & Actors - we couldn't agree on this although GreenMile, Apocalypse Now, Indiana Jones, BTTF and MIB and Robert De Niro got a mention 😄
We moved on to music where there was more common ground on bands and the emotional connection we have to music, bringing back memories. Oasis, Stone Roses, FleetwoodMac, RadioHead and House Music all got mentions

Whippets, Westies & Dachshunds came next and our love of dogs.

An all round thoroughly enjoyable Chippy Chat with plenty of laughs and varied topics navigated - thanks both.

Thank you to Rosegrove Chippy, Neil & Rhys for providing an exceptional Chippy. Fish was popular today and massive too 👍

Phew! What a first week back after the half-term break. So much activity and plenty of good progress to share in the next ‘Westie Walk’ business update 😃

For today’s ’Chippy Chat’ I had the honour of welcoming a true Burnley gent, business wise owl and all round top bloke, Chris Ball of SUMMIT: Guided Business Growth. Chris has always been a constant supporter & promoter of our business from the early days in 2016 with Askew Refrigeration (one of our very first FlexiHire customers). Thank you Chris, always appreciated 👍🏻

Once a customer of CVS, Chris now mentors and advises business owners all across Lancashire on their own growth journey - utilising a wealth of knowledge and experience guided by his methodology.

I also learnt more about the exclusive club. An exciting community concept for business owners. If you know, you know 😃🤫My name is already down on the invite list for the July event and I cannot wait to get involved.

If I remember correctly, it was Chris that recommended Emma Weston to our business for the brilliant murial you see in the background. Hopefully, more to come from this theme as we explore more ideas for our brand development in the future 🤔🧐🤭
