Another vehicle in from one of our long-standing customers, who makes a 2+ hour round trip to Atlantic Detailing and has trusted us with around 10–15 vehicles over the years. That loyalty really does mean a lot.

This new Ford Transit Hybrid arrived in this stunning grey, which looks fantastic… but it’s one of the most unforgiving colours to perfect. Every little mark and haze shows up, so achieving a flawless finish takes time and attention to detail.

This Porsche Boxster was in with us for a 2-stage paint correction on behalf of a local prestige car sales specialist.

This Land Rover Defender 90 made the trip up from Worthing for one thing—long-term underbody protection.

Before any Lanoguard is applied, preparation is everything. We started with a thorough underbody clean and degrease before removing any loose corrosion and surface rust. The entire underside was then cleaned again to ensure the best possible surface for the treatment.

With the preparation complete, we carried out a full Lanoguard application, coating the chassis, cavities and vulnerable components to help protect against corrosion and the effects of the British weather.

It’s a job you’ll rarely see once it’s done, but it’s one of the best investments you can make to preserve your vehicle and help keep it in great condition for years to come.

This stunning Porsche 992 travelled to Atlantic Detailing from Horsham for a full paint enhancement and long-term protection.

This VW T5 camper came to us from Worthing for a Lanoguard underbody protection quote.

While we were chatting, the owner mentioned it was already booked in for a full respray. After taking a proper look around the van, I asked what he hoped to achieve. He explained he thought repainting was the only way to bring it back to life.

I suggested something different.

Rather than spending thousands on a respray, I recommended a 2-stage paint correction to safely remove years of defects and restore the original finish, followed by a Wax is DEAD ceramic coating for long-term protection. We also completed a full Lanoguard underbody treatment to protect the chassis from corrosion.

The owner trusted my advice, cancelled the respray, and booked the work in.

Firstly, apologies if I’ve been a little slow replying to messages recently. Ive been extremely busy and I’m working through enquiries as quickly as possible.

Now for this VW Transporter…

In over 30 years in the automotive industry, this is the worst tar contamination I’ve ever seen.

The owner somehow got caught on a freshly surfaced road while travelling through France, leaving the entire side of the van covered in tar.

It took approximately 20 litres of specialist tar remover and many hours of careful work to safely remove it.

A messy job, but thankfully a very satisfying result.

A familiar face back in the studio.

This Maserati Levante originally visited Atlantic Detailing a couple of years ago for paint correction and protection with a Wax is Dead 10-Year ceramic coating. Following a recent visit to the bodyshop, the owner wanted the entire vehicle brought back to the same high standard.

The Levante travelled from Uckfield for a comprehensive 2-stage paint correction across the whole vehicle, restoring gloss, clarity and depth throughout the paintwork. Once complete, the entire vehicle was re-protected with a fresh application of Wax is Dead 10-Year ceramic coating, ensuring a consistent finish and long-term protection across every panel.

Worth the trip from Eastbourne.

This stunning VW California travelled across from Eastbourne for a full exterior enhancement, including a comprehensive 2-stage paint correction and protection with a 10-Year Wax is Dead ceramic coating.

Like many vehicles, the paintwork had picked up swirl marks and wash marring over time, reducing the depth and clarity of the finish. Following a thorough decontamination process, the paintwork was carefully machine polished to restore gloss, improve clarity and maximise the appearance of the colour.
