Blakeney Motorsport are beyond proud to be the custodians of the 3 podium 1966 GT40’s during their time in the UK for the Miller family Automobile Foundation.
Extraordinarily Greg Miller asked for the cars to be driven in a spirited fashion rather than low speed demo or even just as statics.
Along with the amazing Andretti family, TK, Dario and Karun, PBE and Mike GP have also been designated drivers - an unbelievable honour. The wonderful Rob Kauffman has been piloting 1046 and F1 Kiwi Liam Lawson appropriately drove the McLaren / Amon car today.
Just to be near these iconic war horses of motorsport is very special but to drive them is beyond words.
Next stop will be Goodwood Revival so be sure to come and see them. The BMS team will be happy to let you get up close and personal.
Thankyou to the Millers, Arron Shelby, Mark Allin and Carrie from Raredrive & Tommy Rhinehart and importantly the wonderful Goodwood team who, as ever, look after us all so well.
60 years ago these 3 cars ruled LeMans, today we celebrate all that is good about GT40, motorsport, Goodwood & petrol heads.

Monaco Historic at its very best.

Blakeney Motorsport had an incredible weekend at the 15th Monaco Historic, fielding three Coopers in the sports car race where Fred Wakeman drove brilliantly to secure P2 in the T38.

While PBE left it until the very last corner to sn**ch P1 in a breathtaking finish in the ‘Fane’ single seater.

Patrick also had a great drive in the ex-Giuseppe Farina 4CLT.

Huge thanks to the ACM ()for delivering another unforgettable event.

No time to pause — the trucks are reloaded and the team is already on the way to Donington Park for the MRL () Historic with 10 cars, where Fred will be chasing back-to-back podiums in the T38.

Blakeney Motorsport are an historic race preparer and are looking to recruit an experienced Race Mechanic.
Join our dynamic and passionate motor racing department, where team work drives our success both on and off the track. We are seeking a skilled mechanical technician to be an integral part of our business and ensure all vehicles are engineered to the highest standards, with cars ranging from pre-war GP cars through to early endurance GT’s.

Applicants must demonstrate the following;

* Minimum five years’ experience in an historic car workshop or motorsport team
* Knowledge of mechanical systems and car set-up
* Willingness to work weekends in the UK and abroad with race series such as Peter
Auto and Motor Racing Legends
* Good client relations
* Team player
* Self-motivated
* Problem solving skills
* UK driving licence

Not essential, but desirable;
* Fabrication and machining skills
* CAD knowledge
* Trailer experience

Full-time and permanent position Salary negotiable dependent on experience.

Thank you for another brilliant event, a great way for Blakeney Motorsport to kick off their 2025 race season.

We had the pleasure of running the 5x Le Mans 997 RSR at the inaugural round of the series in Barcelona.
