🔥 IMPORTANT BBQ & FIRE SAFETY NOTICE 🔥

Due to the extremely dry conditions and increased risk of wildfires, all BBQs are currently prohibited at Widemouth Bay Caravan Park, in line with government and fire safety advice.

⛺ Touring guests: We understand that many campers rely on gas stoves for cooking. The use of gas stoves and gas BBQs will be monitored, so please call our reception team or speak to the touring wardens for the latest guidance and permitted use before using them.

Your safety, and the safety of our guests, staff and surrounding countryside, is our priority. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Widemouth Bay Caravan Park is looking for a friendly, professional Receptionist to join our team for the remainder of the 2026 season! ☀️

📅 August–October
⏰ Minimum 18 hours per week, including weekends & school holidays
💷 £12.80 per hour, paid weekly
🍹 Reception, guest services & bar duties
🚗 Own transport/reliable travel essential

We’re looking for someone with great customer service skills, a positive attitude and the ability to stay calm during busy periods. Previous experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our General Manager, Ant.

Ant was much more than a colleague or manager. He was a friend to so many of us, a constant source of support, and someone who cared deeply about both our team and our guests. His kindness, humour and dedication helped shape Widemouth Bay into the special place it is today, and his absence will be felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Courtnay, Isabella, Max, Noah, their family, and all those who loved him during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Ant. You will always be a part of Widemouth Bay and will never be forgotten. ❤️
