🎨 MK1 Ford Focus RS – Respray

Here’s a recent project we’ve been working on.

The rear arches had previously been repaired, and once we began sanding we uncovered multiple layers of paint and previous work throughout the car.

To move forward, everything was taken back and the problem areas were identified, treated and isolated where required, before moving into primer, preparation and respray.

As with many projects like this, the work carried out was tailored to the customer’s requirements and budget, while still aiming to achieve a high-quality finish.

The end result came out really well 👍

🎨 Audi Wing & Bumper Repair

Here’s a recent repair we carried out on this Audi with damage to the front wing, bumper corner and headlight.

The wing was badly dented and out of shape, and once stripped down we found it had actually split through, requiring straightening and welding to restore it.

The bumper was then reshaped using heat to match the repaired wing before moving through preparation, priming and repainting.

Rather than replacing the wing, we chose to repair the original panel, helping keep costs down while retaining the genuine part.
We supplied a replacement headlight and the repair was finished.

The end result speaks for itself 👍

Here’s a recent repair we completed on this Mercedes following accident damage.

The work involved:
🔹 Replacing the driver’s side rear door
🔹 Repairing the rear quarter panel and front door
🔹 Repainting the side of the vehicle from the front wing through to the rear bumper to ensure a seamless, factory-quality finish.

The result was a faultless repair, with the vehicle returned looking as it should.

🎄 Closed for the Christmas Holidays here at MP Customs Garage & Bodyshop 🎄

As we head into the end of the year, we’d like to let everyone know that MP Customs Garage & Bodyshop is now closed for the Christmas holidays and will reopen on the 5th of January.

It’s been an incredibly busy year for us, and because of that we haven’t had much time to keep our page updated, which is a good problem to have! We’re hugely grateful for how busy we’ve been and for the trust so many of you continue to place in us.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to all of our customers for your continued support throughout the year, and to all of the local businesses that we work along side with.
It genuinely means a lot to us to have your support.

🏁 Last one for today! here’s a neat front bumper repair on this Porsche Boxster.

This one came in with a deep scratch and gouge in the front bumper. We carefully repaired the damaged plastic and resprayed the entire bumper, restoring it back to its deep, glossy finish. Just as it should be.

Another great result and another happy customer.

✅ That’s enough catching up for one day! we could go on, but we’ll leave it there (for now!).
We’ll be making a better effort to post more regularly and keep everyone updated with the work we’re doing in the bodyshop and garage.

⚡ Another insurance repair completed, this time on a new Audi Q4 e-tron.

This vehicle came to us after a heavy front-end impact, which caused extensive damage to the entire offside front and side, including:

• Bonnet
• Lights
• Bumper
• Wing
• Doors
• Slam panels
• Structural components

We carried out a full strip-down, replaced all damaged parts with genuine Audi components, and refinished everything to a factory-standard finish.

✅ Once reassembled, the vehicle was fully re-calibrated and aligned, ready for the road again, safe, accurate, and just as it should be.

A fairly big job, but a fantastic result and one very happy customer who can now continue to enjoy their nearly-new car.

🚐 This VW Transporter came in for an insurance repair after damage to the side of the van.

We replaced the sliding door and tackled a dent in the sill using our weld pull system to carefully bring it out. To keep things looking original, we also recreated the factory sealant pattern on the sill before painting.

🛠️ We then:
• Supplied and sprayed a new door
• Resprayed the sill
• Blended the side panels to match
• Re-fitted the glass

Once reassembled, it was back to looking good as new, another great result and a smooth insurance repair process.

⚙️ Next up – a Honda in for some much-needed attention to rust and paintwork.

This one came in with rust around the fuel filler area, which we carefully cut out and replaced with fresh metal before repairing and blending the surrounding panel.

At the same time, we tackled paint peel and scratches on the roof and door shuts, refinishing everything in a stunning 3-stage pearl white, bringing back a deep gloss and factory-fresh look.

🧽 A great result for the customer – not only a big cosmetic improvement but protection that will now last for years to come.

Here’s a nice before-and-after on a Volvo we recently repaired.
This one came in with a scratched front bumper and a dented rear quarter, which we carefully repaired and refinished to get it looking like nothing ever happened.

💡 Whether it’s accident damage, car park scrapes, or just wear and tear, we carry out all levels of body repairs, from minor dents to full panel resprays.

It’s not always classic cars in the shop, we take pride in getting everyday vehicles back to their best.
