Plas Newydd provides an ideal location to explore North Wales. Alison and Antony will provide you with a warm welcome to their CL which possesses exceptional facilities with electrics, satellite connection and a cold water tap on each of the five pitches. The site itself is located on the northern end of the Horse Shoe Pass and so is ideal for those who wish to visit the Llangollen Eisteddfod. Rut
hin, a historic market town and castle is a short drive away as is Snowdonia for those who enjoy the walks and views from the various mountains. Chester Zoo, ideal for the children is 50 minutes drive away. For the mountain bikers, the Llandegla Forest is a key location for those who enjoy this sport. Fishing and shooting centres are also close at hand. The site requires members to use green elsan fluid. This can be purchased from the CL on arrival. Absolutely no wet wipes of any description are allowed to be flushed down the toilets or chemical waste disposal. A pitch is from £19 per night, which includes up to 2 adults & 2 children under 5 and an awning. Additional adults and children over 5 are charged at £3 per night.
