We are delighted to share a recent milestone in the production of our first new-generation Broom boat!

We have just completed the installation of the fully electric cockpit roof on the Broom F46, "Admiral." At the touch of a button, the roof slides back to create a seamless, open-air environment—perfect for making the most of the spring sunshine.

We are now in the final phase of the build, with completion due in the coming weeks. We are incredibly excited to see her launch in mid-March! 🌊

This 1980 Broom 37 Crown combines its classic cruising heritage with an extensive list of modern upgrades, powered by upgraded twin Perkins HT6354 185hp diesel engines. Her interior has been significantly modernized, featuring a totally renovated galley with all-new appliances and a sophisticated new Victron power system including a 5KW inverter, Cerbo GX controller, and Orion DC-DC chargers.

Domestic comfort is ensured by two new Sani Marin electric toilets and new thermostatic shower units, as well as new carpets and upholstery. On-deck handling is made effortless by a recently added bow thruster and a new Quick Prince DP2 electric windlass. Boasting a brand-new full canopy, this vessel has also just benefited from a full compound and polish, fresh antifoul, and a complete engine service, leaving her in true turn-key condition. With her signature full-beam aft master cabin and versatile three-door access, she is a remarkably well-specified example ready for immediate adventure.

Remembrance Day | Lest We Forget

Today we pause to remember and honour all those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. 🕊

During the Second World War, Broom Boats turned its Norfolk boatbuilding skills to the British war effort, constructing vessels for the Royal Navy under Admiralty contracts. Some of these boats are believed to have taken part in the Dunkirk evacuation of 1940 (Operation Dynamo) — when around 850 small civilian and military craft crossed the Channel to rescue over 338,000 Allied soldiers.

It was one of the most extraordinary acts of courage in maritime history, and we’re proud that local craftsmanship from Brundall contributed to such a defining moment.

We will remember them. ❤️
