Work on our latest Broom F46 is progressing at pace, and this month brought some seriously exciting milestones on the workshop floor! 🛥️🛠️

Here’s a peak behind the scenes at what our team has been up to:
🔸The Roof: We’ve fitted the electrically sliding canopy, featuring an awesome new addition—an integrated sunroof to let even more natural light in!
🔸The Interior: Our skilled joiners are hard at work installing custom cabinetry throughout the vessel.
🔸 The Vibe: The impressive new lighting package is going in, including stunning all-new mood lighting throughout

We’re looking for a skilled, passionate Boat Builder who understands the full lifecycle of a vessel from hull preparation to final fit-out.

What we’re looking for:
✨ Proven experience in marine construction (luxury motor cruisers preferred)
✨ Exceptional marine joinery & high-end finishing skills
✨ Strong practical knowledge of structural bonding & assembly
✨ Ability to read technical drawings and work to British luxury benchmarks

⚓ WE'RE HIRING: JUNIOR SALES ASSISTANT (FULL-TIME) ⚓

Are you passionate about boats, energetic, and ready to break into the premium marine industry? We’re looking for a dynamic Junior Sales Assistant to join our busy sales office at Broom Boats.

This isn't your average desk job. One day you’ll be out on the docks taking photos or moving luxury vessels, the next you'll be writing marketing copy or drafting sales contracts. We will train you on everything from basic marine mechanics to legal conveyancing, with excellent potential to progress into active sales .

What you’ll be doing:

📸 Taking high-quality boat photos & writing specifications.

📱 Creating engaging social media content.

🛥️ Handling, cleaning and moving boats around the marina.

📄 Learning marine conveyancing, contracts and sales and general admin.

What we need from you:

A passion for boats and comfort working around water.

Strong written skills, a keen eye for photography, and great tech/social media savvy.

High organisational skills and a valid UK driver’s licence.

History is in the house! ⚓

Our boat restoration and maintenance team are currently hard at work providing some dedicated TLC to a truly legendary vessel: The Albert.

This Broom 45 holds a prestigious place in Norfolk history. Built in 1965 for a director of the iconic Norwich confectioner John Mackintosh & Co, she was designed by the legendary Arnott Fowler.

But her most illustrious moment? In November 1976, The Albert was chosen to ferry HM The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh from Horning Staithe for the opening of the Ranworth conservation centre! 👑

It is an absolute privilege to have such a storied piece of Broom heritage back with us, ensuring she remains in peak condition for many more years of cruising.

We are pleased to announce that after a short pause, diesel is once again available at our fuel kiosk. Whether you’re prepping for a weekend cruise or topping up after a trip, we’re ready to welcome you back to the water.

🕒 Opening Hours
Monday – Friday: 10:00 – 16:00

Saturday: 10:00 – 15:00

Sunday: Closed

⛽ Services & Pricing
Diesel: Featuring Shell GTL Fuel. A cleaner-burning, FAME-free alternative to conventional diesel that reduces emissions without requiring engine modifications.

Pump-out: £25 (plus £5 per subsequent tank).

Water: Free for all visitors.

Why Shell GTL? It’s a "drop-in" fuel made from natural gas, offering better low-temperature performance and a healthier environment for your crew and the local community. No modifications, no hassle—just cleaner cruising.

⚓New Build News ⚓

We are delighted to share a recent milestone in the production of our first new-generation Broom boat!

We have just completed the installation of the fully electric cockpit roof on the Broom F46, "Admiral." At the touch of a button, the roof slides back to create a seamless, open-air environment—perfect for making the most of the spring sunshine.

We are now in the final phase of the build, with completion due in the coming weeks. We are incredibly excited to see her launch in mid-March! 🌊
