We can now finally offer short run re-nitriding at an affordable price!
Over the past 10 months we’ve been working with a heat treatment company to bring the cost of re-nitriding irons down to an acceptable price. Previously it was very expensive for 1 or 2 motors worth of irons to get done due to the huge price of paying for the oven to be used at the correct temperatures and lengths of time for rotary irons so people have had irons with us for nearly 3 years waiting for us to accumulate enough to warrant doing the job. The wait is over! It’s still not cheap, but a damn sight cheaper than new irons. Especially if your irons are ported, machined or modified. Or, you have unicorn mfr stuff or 12a’s.
