Milestone unlocked! 🎨✨

Huge progress on the 60x12ft widebeam for Central Boating this week! We’ve officially crossed three major stages off the list:

Primer coat: The base is primed and ready for her colors next week.

Timber battening & flooring: Frame and floor are down, shaping the space inside.

Spray foam insulation: Fully sealed, cozy, and prepped to handle whatever the British weather throws at her!

Watching a steel shell turn into a sailaway is easily the best part of the job. Next up: paintwork, windows, and dropping in the engine. Stay tuned to watch this build come to life! 🛠️⚓

⚓ Progress update from the workshop! ⚓

We’re making great progress on the brand-new 45ft x 10ft widebeam canal boat for SeagullTrust Falkirk! 🛠️✨

The steelwork is getting closer to completion, and the overall structure is really taking shape. It’s always rewarding to work on a vessel destined for such a brilliant cause—once she’s finished and makes her way up to Falkirk, she’ll be providing, accessible canal trips for people with disabilities and additional support needs.

There’s still plenty of work ahead before she hits the water, but we’re thrilled with how this build is coming together. Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes updates from the yard!

🛳️ MILESTONE ALERT! ⚙️🎨

Huge progress on our latest build for Central Boating! This 60ft x 12ft wide beam has officially finished all her steelwork and is making her grand exit from the steel shop!

Next up, she’s moving into the tunnel for the next exciting phase:

🎨 Full professional paint job
🪵 Battening & spray foam insulation
⚙️ Fitting a brand-new Barrus engine

She’s already looking like a absolute beauty, and we can't wait to see her transformed over the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates as this dream boat comes to life! 🛠️✨

Big changes for Trundle! 🚤✨

This 50ft narrowboat just underwent a complete top-side transformation:
🔹 Stripped right back to bare metal & full top-side repaint in two pack paint
🔹 All windows and fittings out and re-fitted
🔹 Upgraded to a brand new solar setup ☀️
🔹 Installed a new Victron inverter charger ⚡
🔹 Upgraded the calorifier from 30L to 65L 💧

She’s glowing, off-grid ready, and set for the canals!
