Here at LH Recovery (Andrew Lee’s hobby) we find ourselves in the amazing position of having more work by the day. We love this, our drivers love this, but even those warriors need to sleep and have days off!

We know there are qualified technicians and recovery drivers out there, looking to put those legendary skills to use. Alongside that, we know there are people out there looking for a change, and to learn some new skills.

Broken down on the road? Stay safe with these quick tips 👇

1️⃣ Pull over safely to the left or into a lay-by
2️⃣ Switch on hazard lights
3️⃣ Stay in the car on motorways unless safe to exit
4️⃣ Use the passenger side to get out
5️⃣ Wear a high-vis jacket if you leave the vehicle
6️⃣ Only use a warning triangle if it’s safe (never on motorways)
7️⃣ Call for help – don’t try risky roadside repairs
8️⃣ Move behind a barrier if possible
9️⃣ Avoid live lanes

NIGHT RESCUE & RECOVERY OPERATIVES
Job type: Full-time, Permanent 📆
Salary: From £30,000.00 per year 💰
Schedule: 4 days on 2 days off rota system ⏰
(starting at 1900 in the evenings until 0700 the following morning.)
Requirements:
- 7.5t / HGV 1 or 2 with a current CPC card.
- Mechanical knowledge of car and light commercial vehicles is essential
- This will include a nationally recognised recovery qualification (IVR Modules 1,2 & 3.)
📍 We currently have vacancies in Brighton, Mid Sussex and in the Cranleigh / Guildford area
Overtime / Extra days are available.
