As last minute deliveries go this one was turned into a road trip! So surprise present needed to be in Bristol on Saturday afternoon, journey there very smooth and Plan A to stay down there or one way rental back. Maybe should have planned ahead as missed last train North by 30 minutes and Bristol Balloon Festival so popular that no accommodation close to the centre and no one way Rentals available! Plan B get closer to Bridlington and off to Birmingham I go…..Booking.com and Macdonald Burlington Hotel next to Birmingham New Street. And after quick night cap watched London 0 Hull 4 (someone reading this will be as old as me!) If ever I need somewhere close to the train station I’ll be staying here again. Anyway 9.03am back to Bridlington boarded and hopefully back in the Burlington (Bridlington) in next four hours 😎
