Auto Electrician Required


As an Auto Electrician work coverage includes but not limited to Cars, Vans, Motorhomes, Trucks and Plant Machinery. The right applicant should be able to work efficiently, as part of a small team and must be confident and professional.

Pay: Depending on experience and qualifications.
Times: Monday to Friday 0830 hrs to 1700 hrs
Holiday: 20 days paid Holiday plus bank holidays

The role:
•Diagnose vehicle problems . Electrical & Mechanical systems.
•Installation of various electrical components and systems.
•Carry out service work & complex jobs competently & within time scales
•To ensure that times are recorded
•Assist and advise other technicians , oversee workshop & update reception.
•Use diagnostic equipment competently
•Meet Motor Codes service & repair code
•Meet manufacture standards & maintain high standards
•Liaising with suppliers & updating customers
•To keep the place of work clean & tidy
•To ensure parts warranty claims are retained
•To ensure that exchange parts are returned to suppliers
•To be prepared to work overtime with reasonable notice
•To ensure that vehicles worked on are carefully handled
•To maintain & develop skill levels
•To make full use of specialist tools

The essentials:
•Driving Licence
•Good team player
•Strong technical background [ Min 5 years workshop experience ]
•Proof of qualifications

We are still acting responsibly and working within the governments updated guidelines of social distancing and staying safe.

Vehicles, equipment, keys etc will be sanitised by us when the vehicle is dropped off and again when handed back. Our technicians have been following good hygiene practices so be assured we are acting responsibly.

Update from us at AD Auto Electrical

As we have been identified as a key business we will continue to stay open in this difficult time.

We are acting responsibly and working within the governments updated guidelines of social distancing and staying safe.

For us and our customers it means that we will only be accepting work from key workers and business’s that need us to provide our services so they can continue to play their part in keeping this country going strong. However if you rely on your vehicle for essential travel as outlined by the government we will accept that vehicle for repair from the public (Only if you have a genuine reason for repair. This excludes general servicing, maintenance, accessories and non-safety related issues).

We have adopted a by appointment only policy. Vehicles, equipment, keys etc will be sanitised by us when the vehicle is dropped off and again when handed back. Our technicians have been following good hygiene practices so be assured we are acting responsibly.

For the moment we won't be using the reception as a waiting area and will be operating a drop and go approach, calling you when your vehicle is ready for collection.

Just to let you know that we are still open and offering all of our usual automotive services. We are working by appointment only so please call us ahead to have your vehicle booked in.
