Squirrel Campers

What are your plans for today? Before heading off to Squirrel Campers HQ we always take the Pickle for a walk on the local beach and this morning it was particularly beautiful 🏖️!

A major advantage of Van life is being able to experience parts of the country that you might otherwise never visit, that’s why we encourage everybody who wants to give it a try.

So right now, we’re on the M5 heading to Bridgwater and looking forward to welcoming more of our wonderful customers who will always be welcome to pop in for a coffee, a biscuit and a chat 💬. Whatever you get up to today, wishing you all the best and hopefully we might “see” some of you at our workshop too!

PS. You will have to excuse part of my finger being over the lens in this video, as a totally blind person I had no idea this was happening 🤪!

This is some good news for the Van life community, we need more of these across the UK.

07/07/2026

I have seen a number of people who are new to Van life, tent box and trailer camping asking how they reserve their pitch when on a Campsite should they go out for the day.
Some people will leave an item such as a camping chair, folding table, et cetera, but one of these collapsible traffic cones is a much better solution.
Supplied with its own storage case, it folds completely flat and when required, pops up with a simple pull of the top and it creates a perfect little traffic cone.

With a sturdy base so it won’t blow over or disappear across the Campsite in strong winds and with reflective bands it can easily be seen in the dark.

Available to buy online in our shop.

🕵️‍♂️ GUESS WHAT MALISH IS BUILDING: WEEK 2! 🕵️‍♂️
He’s back at the workbench, the pocket hole drill bits are spinning, and the clamps are out! Our resident master builder Malish is hard at work on his latest custom project in the workshop today.
While we’re known for high-spec camper conversions, Malish’s woodworking skills don't stop at the van door. From bespoke domestic furniture for your home to precision wood machining and lightweight cabinetry, he can design, construct, and finish to an exceptionally high standard.
But what exactly is he creating in the photo right now? 🤔 (Take a close look at the image for a clue!)
❌ Week 1 Update: Nobody nailed it last week, though one of you got incredibly close!
💰 The Stakes Have Risen: Because it went unsolved, the prize pot has officially bumped up to a £15 voucher!
Whether you need a custom camper kitchen, a bespoke storage unit for your house, or a completely unique piece of furniture made to your exact requirements, Malish can bring it to life.
Drop your best guess in the comments below! 👇

🐿️ The Great Squirrel Campers Mystery Challenge! 🐿️
Alright, everyone—I need your help! Malish has been locked away in the workshop with that determined look on his face, building a brand-new project. The problem is... he won’t tell me exactly what it is yet! 🕵️‍♀️🛠️
So, we thought we’d turn it into a bit of fun and launch a 3-week rolling jackpot competition to see who can guess his latest creation first.
If you want to bag some online shopping credit for your own camper van, here is how the jackpot rolls:
💰 The Rolling Jackpot
Week 1 (Tonight): The prize pot starts at a tidy £10.
Week 2: No correct answers this week? The pot rolls over, Malish drops a brand-new clue picture next Sunday, and the prize climbs to £15!
Week 3 (Final Week): If it’s still a mystery, a final clue drops and the grand finale jackpot hits its max cap of £20!
🎁 The Prize: The winner will grab a Squirrel Campers digital voucher to spend on any of the practical accessories or lovely bits of kit in our online shop!
📝 How to Play
Drop your guess in the comments section below. What do you think he's making?
Only one guess per person, per week please—let's keep it friendly and fair!
The jackpot goes to the first person to guess exactly right.
If we hit the end of Week 3 and nobody has nailed it, the voucher goes to the person we think was closest to the mark!
You can find our full official rules safely hosted on our site here: https://squirrelcampers.com/facebook-competition-rules
🕵️‍♂️ Week 1 Clue: Help Me Decode This!
Take a close look at the picture below... what do you reckon he is up to out there?
Put your detective hats on, drop your guesses in the comments, and let’s see if we can figure him out before he finishes it! 👇
