Good luck to Ciaran and Nicole in hopefully the Love Island final, from all of us here at RJD Motor Services.

We are extremely proud to be a small part of a fantastic rugby club.

In anticipation of our boy Ciaran making the Love Island final, the club is planning on opening from 7pm on Monday evening so we can all watch the final and cheer him on! ❤️🏝️

🥳🥳Today is a very special anniversary for us here at RJD Motor Services.🥳🥳

It's 15 years to the day, today, (June 1st 2009) that I first took the leap and opened our doors for the very first time.

During those 15 years we've seen out a fair few struggles and worries along the way, including a recession, a global pandemic and lots and lots of late nights and weekends to make ends meet.

We owe a big debt of gratitude to all our customers old and new, we will be eternally greatfull to you all. Thank you ❤️💙

Since 2009 we've gone from being a one man operation, in one unit in Tondu, to now having 4 employees and doubling the size of the workshop/garage in Tondu enterprise centre.

In 2020, during the pandemic lock downs, we had the opportunity to take on our neighbouring unit, which we did and installed our own Class4 and Class 7 MOT bay.

We really do now offer a "Total car maintenance" all in one place.

MOT's, servicing, diagnostics, brakes, tyres, timing belts, clutches, 4 wheel alignment, tracking... The list is endless.

So, to help celebrate our 15 year anniversary, we are putting on a 15% reduction on all our AIR Conditioning services, for the entire month of June.

If your vehicle has A/C we can service it, we have the facilities to offer r134a and r1234yf.
That means we can service Air conditioning systems in everything from an old Ford Fiesta right up untill todays Hybrid and EV vehicles including Tesla's.

With the warmer weather now coming in, why not give us a ring and get your vehicles Air conditioning sytem serviced, and enjoy that 15% discount.....

With an exciting announcement to come in the summer months, which will see us continuing our long term sponsorship and support, of our beloved Tondu RFC. As well as continuing to support Tondu Cricket club in a small way. It really is nice to be a part of the local community.

We are looking for an experienced qualified senior mechanic/supervisor to join us at RJD Motor Services.

We are an independant Class 4 + 7 MOT station and vehicle maintenance garage in Tondu.

We have a good local reputation, a well established customer base and have been trading in Tondu for 15years.

With our ever increasing workload, the time has come to employ a Senior Mechanic.

The successful candidate would be familiar with all aspects of diagnostics, servicing, repairs and MOT repair work. As well as helping others in the workshop, and contributing to the daily running of the workshop itself.

Experience over a number of years, across a wide range of vehicle manufacturers would be a mandatory requirement. F Gas, EV and MOT tester qualifications would be advantageous and would reflect in the starting salary, within the stated pay band.

**After sucessfully completing a 13 week probationary period, a bonus of £500 will be paid to the successful candidate**

Benefits include company pension scheme, flexibility in working hours, and 28 days paid holiday (Inc bank holidays)
