I’ve been let down by 4 different carpenters, to quote for 3 different jobs at my house. The first didn’t turn up, the second sent a text at the time we were due to meet saying that he couldn’t make it, the third hasn’t even responded to the enquiry form on his page, at least the fourth had the decency to leave a voicemail an hour before our meeting.
As someone who is self-employed, I am finding it so frustrating that I need to book time in my diary, and then be let down.
Surely it can’t be too difficult to get professional carpenters to provide a price, with the opportunity of getting the work after that?
Can someone provide a suggestion of someone who will at least turn up when arranged please?
