We had a fantastic end to our week at BMTC HQ thanks to our amazing trainees.
Seven out of seven test passes at Mod 1 and Mod 2.
Following on from last nights post with James starting us off in Swansea, he was quickly followed by Dave and Callum.. who made Mod 1 look easy. Congratulations to you both… Mod 2 next, let’s get it done.
We ( Lindsey and Chris, the instructors ) then headed back to Bridgend to pick up our Mod 2 trainees for a quick warm up before test.
First up was Emma who delivered what the examiner described as ‘the best ride of the day so far’ Fantastic praise indeed. First time pass for Emma to go with her first time pass at Mod 1. Great job
Next up was Matt and another great ride from Matt also bringing him a first time pass at both Mod 1 and Mod 2. Well done… All that and it was still only lunchtime…
On to Friday.. According to the weather forecast we were in for light wind and rain, so not the thunder, lightning and flooding that hit Cardiff at 5am. Fortunately it calmed down to allow Steve and Kane a dry ride to Swansea for their Mod 1.
Steve only had his first training session with us on Tuesday and impressed enough that we slipped him into a vacant slot today. A quick hour with Chris yesterday and he came back with just the one rider fault. awesome job..
Kane, from Gloucester was next and produced a thoroughly deserved clean sheet.
Mod 2 before Christmas and maybe Santa will bring a new bike.
