Hello people. I've decided to resurrect the old business page, I've started doing a few vehicle repairs again, and would be happy to help any of my old customers. I'm not doing it on the scale I used to but I can do most repairs and maintenance on cars, light vans and motorbikes.

Yesterday's job, a vw T4, upper and lower ball joints. A pig of a job, but I've done a fair few of these now. This vehicle had the original ball joints, and they were well and truly stuck in. Perseverance is the key, and eventually I removed them. I own t4s myself so there's not much I haven't done on them. If your T4 needs some love, give me a shout.

Something a bit different today, Suzuki gsf1200, non runner. Had new clutch plates, clutch slave cylinder rebuilt, fluid bled, oil and filter change, spark plugs and carbs cleaned out. Customer drove it home with a smile on his face.

Today's job was a Toyota Supra, a tidy example, that's been well looked after by a previous garage for many years. I was asked to change the spark plugs as they were due for change, not an easy task on these as it requires removal of part of the inlet manifold to access the two center plugs. Upon removal of the plugs you can see the previous garage has been lazy and changed the plugs that are easy to get to and not bothered with the two center ones. They've been there for a while as there was a nice mouse nest on top. So ask yourself do you trust that your mechanic is doing a proper job?

2018 is on its way and we're looking to improve here at VRS. We would appreciate some input from our customers on how we can do this. I have considered offering a tyre fitting service, but would like to know if that would be something that our customers would be interested in. Any other suggestions are welcome, whether it be a service we can offer or if you think things could be done better. We appreciate your opinion, and hope to see you back in the new year.

Christmas is fast approaching, and I'm sure that your car is the last thing your thinking about, but if your in need of some maintenance over the Christmas period, then the workshop will be open on the 28th and 29th, this helps some people who work in the week usually or are at college or university. To the People who use me for there cars servicing needs, here's a reminder that isn't the only thing I can do for you. I can also offer minor welding services. We are also in the process of buying some stock cars to offer for sale. I also offer a valeting service, to give you an idea of what I can do, the picture below is of a vw lupo I bought, the car was in a pretty poor state when I got hold of it, it had been sat in someone's garden for 6 months, and had no mot, within a couple of days it was MOTed and the outside washed and machined polished, the vehicle has done 150000 miles and had a hard life but with some work, I think you'll agree the results are impressive. Please give me a call if your vehicle is in need of some love.
