Mazda MX-5's are the pride and joy of many of our customers, but I'm sure some of you might be aware of the fairly common 'rear axle bush' fault that the 4th generation car (2015-present) suffers with.
The main dealer will often charge you over £3000 for new hubs, bearings and bushes including labour and VAT which can leave some people feeling a little less warm about their lovely Mazda's!
Here at J W Gibbs, we've tried and tested a repair which includes replacement of only the faulty bushes with superior genuine POWERFLEX branded bushes, which come with a lifetime warranty straight from the manufacturer, unlike the Mazda OEM bushes, which are liable to fail again in time. These bushes fit easily into the original hub knuckle, saving on repair costs. The best thing about our repair is that we're well under half the price of the main dealer repair as we don't have to replace the hub or bearings unnecessarily!
Powerflex polyurethane bushes are much more robust than the original rubber bushes, as they won't deform or weather like rubber will, nor do they wear, so you can literally fit them and forget about them ever being an issue again (permanently fixing Mazda's poor design!) They are just as comfortable to drive on, won't hurt your nearby suspension components in any way, extend tyre life and they're made right here in Britain!
If you or someone you know owns a Mazda MX-5 which is suffering from this fault, give us a ring to book in - we may be able to book you in within a couple of weeks depending on supplier stock!
