A difficult decision…

Due to the ever-increasing costs of running the business, I’ve made the difficult decision to close at the end of this year.

I’ll be finishing the current jobs we’ve already started, but unfortunately I won’t be taking on any new work between now and closing.

I’ve had a fantastic time over the years restoring classic cars, building some really special cars and meeting some great people along the way. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved.

I’m not entirely sure what the future holds just yet, but one thing I do know is that it will definitely involve cars! 🚗

I try not to work on customers cars on a weekend but this weekend has been the exception. I wanted to get Michael’s mk2 painted by the end of next week so needed to get the underneath in epoxy so I started the week ahead. Hopefully by this time next week the shell will be white 🤞

One of the jobs I’ve been putting off was the domed rivets on the series 1 Land Rover as it’s a job which can potentially scratch the paint of cause damage to bodywork. So we ended up making our own special tool to do the job so it can be done in a controlled manner 😎

Got a tired mk2 in for a tidy up. Looks like whoever painted it last time had moisture in there air lines. Only one thing for it strip it all off. It is quite satisfying watching the paint st****er at work.
